I’m really surprised and saddened by some of these comments. I came to post that you are beautiful, Becky, in all states, and I wish we would see each other without make-up more often. Learning to find ourselves and each other beautiful without artificial perfection seems like a very wise project, and we can always get’dolled up’ when it feels like fun instead of a chore. <3
Now that I’m in my 50’s I really hate decorating for Christmas…all 4 kids are all grown and gone, this year we didn’t even put up the tree.hoping when we have grandkids I will want to do it again
Can you add raisins to the bread?
I use a 50/50 mix of wheat to regular flour. All whole wheat is too heavy and dense to allow for proper rising. White whole wheat is really good!
I left a comment here but it has disappeared, it was a link to a soft wheat bread dinner roll recipe. Maybe your Spam filters are a little aggressive lol
You are doing great! To make good whole wheat bread is not an easy transition from white bead!
We’ll not everything turns out unfortunately. Learn from our mistakes or fails.
Every one has had fails in cooking . Glad you got time off to relax.
Also, you are doing a wonderful job Becky!! You are kind, understanding, thoughtful, hard working, and real. ❤️ You take excellent care of everyone around you, and of yourself too. Continue to be you, and ignore the muckrackers. Hope this finds you well.
Our baby is sweet and looks great I love him a lot ❤
Dear Becky I love you as you are .Be yourself i love you as you are
I use that exact same bread flour and really like the flavor! But I mix it with all purpose, so about 1/3 whole wheat bread to 2/3rds all purpose. It also needs more water and more time to rise!
Well, now I can say congratulations to you and Josh on your new baby. In the other 2 videos, you pushed the baby to another room and another time, the face was covered and snugged, suffercating in a wrap, so this is much better seeing the baby just showing the back…..I wasn't trying to be rude at all…I see you got your hands full with cooking and being a mom and wife…nothing wrong with your appearance you don't have to put on makeup you are already blessed with a natural beauty so don't think you have to be made up..just please your husband!! Best wishes!!!
Using white wholewheat bread flour should work well, but I recommend using 1/2 whole wheat ,1/2 all purpose or white flour and the dough will behave much more like a regular dough.
Chuckle, my babies were that small for the first week! After that they were too big to hang on me! It looks like so much fun to wear them! lol
I’m old and not good at you tube but I need Becky’s PO Box address to send her something. Can someone plz help me
Did you post the link to the laundry soap sheets?
As a mumma real life i love. Ty 4 being u and oh my baby snuggles r the best xo
i think you did the bread right however it may need to bake longer because of it being whole wheat and take into account your elevation as well when you maybe bake the no knead bread again with the whole wheat flour
Is there a recipe for the Gnocchi soup? My kids were watching with me when you were taste testing it, and they were all like, "momm, mom, we gotta make that!" Lol
Baby Acre is so cute in his jeans and white T-Shirt, can't wait to see him in a pair of Josh's nock-off shorts toddling/walking near Dad's legs in late Summer. So many wonderful things to look forward to…oh and 'homesteading too' !!!
I've heard some people say to mix whole wheat flour and all purpose or white flour when baking bread so it's not so dense.
Was it not warm/humid enough, in your kitchen, for your dough to rise? That could have been the problem. I have also seen a few of your vids when you've had 'yeast issues'……which got me to thinking. I know that I have left the comment…..that if you keep your yeast in the freezer, it will stay good for 'forever'. But, I think that because you use tap water when making breads, this may be the problem. I'm actually surprised that you don't filter your tap water! The Chlorine in tap water could be your problem. Not to mention there is THOUSANDS of other toxic chemicals coming out of our taps, such as Fluoride (lowers IQ, causes bone cancer, and MUCH more!)! Some places have even started putting AMMONIA in to the Public's drinking (tap) water!!
I have a ProPur water filtration system. Hands down!!…..THEE best thing that I have ever bought in my entire life!! I used to have many failures when baking (with yeast/flour)……and I have had NONE since using my ProPur. And it was awesome to finally taste what ACTUAL, CLEAN WATER tasted like!! lol There's NOTHING like it!! (makes for GREAT tasting coffee, too!!) I don't know if ProPur's are still being sold, but another good system is the AlexaPure. Everyone is always praising the Berkey; but those, one has to buy a separate filter to take out the FLUORIDE! Something that I was NOT going to do!! ProPur & AlexaPure takes out the Fluoride. I hope that you do end up getting a water filtration system, Becky….especially now that you have a little one!! For some reason, people just don't realize how HIGHLY TOXIC their tap water IS!
You are so beautiful, keep up the good work
YOu are doing great!!! : )
I’m not sure about those shots. I would like the chicken croissant. I also took Hone Ec in school many years ago, and I totally agree with you about schools having this class in school. Teens nowadays really need these classes.
