I am always on the lookout for ways to make growing food easier and more productive whilst at the same time promoting wildlife and sustainability. Often the biggest changes come from the simplest of ideas, and in this video, I am sharing with you the 3 simplest things I have done recently that have made the biggest impact on making this garden productive and healthy. Make sure you watch the 3rd one which is my absolute favourite way to get loads more food from the vegetable garden!

Do you use bamboo teepees for your peas?
I am glad you did this video: I used to watch your videos but the gardening you did was more like "duties" and too regimented – glad to hear you now go for fun and enjoyment! I garden and experiment and have a ball, and enough food to last me the entire year.
your philosophy about The Joy of your task is so wise! You are the Gorgeous Gardening Guru!
What a beautiful garden – well done
Hi, awesome channel, congrats! What is that greenhouse I see in your videos? It looks amazing. Wonder if it is available in US.
Where did you get that rake? That thing is a beast.
Wonderful and thoughtful Thank you so much.
How do your brassicas and leeks not get Leek moth or cabbage fly Huw ?
Did you grow a beard?
Your potatoes plants look so healthy could you replant them for another crop??
I love your insight into gardening for more fun and pleasure vs. the pressure of having to be more productive. This is a learning I've been coming to as well. Reversing the time/production pressure to instead appreciate the beauty and learning, watching things grow on their own and the cooperative nature of the process… so much more joy to be had!
Huw, is there anything you’ve found that you would never grow near each other again?. Or in succession?
What kind of romaine was that growing in a stalk? Does it do well in warmer weather? Thanks for responding, I'm doing a salad garden and needed something that's slow bolt and is pretty sturdy. I live on Maui and grow my lettuces in the shade of a tree.
Hello form Sweden.
I found your channel some days ago. Love it! A great inspiration!
This is so great..
With a garden that size how many people does it feed? Is it a market garden or just for you and your family? There's no way you by yourself can eat all that food without having massive amounts of waste
Thank you so much Huw xxx.
I have been to your country 25years ago you know. Xx
hugh i LOVED your third tip!! just to sit in my garden and enjoy the beauty, the butterflies, the birds and everything that grows, made it grow better! i really start to believe in elemental beings that react on the joy and positive energy of us human beings… thank you for your wonderful videos and books!!!!!
Cheers
Do you sell your vegetables? It seems a huge amount of food for 1 family.
