True capitalism is good, government controlled capitalism sucks! If permaculture want to stand on its own feet it has to be able to pay for itself out side of donations. So permaculture systems need to generate its own income to get out of the hobby department to be truly self sustaining.

I'm fixing to take out the shrub border in front of my house to replace with edibles. only gets half sun so doing test to see what will do well. something like this would make a good idea. replace landscaping aka lookables for edibles.
capitalism isn't the exchange of tender, it's not entrepreneurialisum, it's not even highly competitive as the biggest player tend to form manopolies. It's better not to be absolute that's when you get issues.
