Bees are vital to our survival, always make sure they have plenty of food. In this video we have four bumblebees burying themselves in the flower of the artichoke and it looks like they are enjoying themselves. Please do your best to help bees out by planting as many bee friendly plants as you can.

Absolutely agree. They are beautiful creatures too.. they seem clumsy yet know exactly what they are doing. Love how they bury themselves when there is an abundance of good Pollen. They are our friends. A general note to the unaware: Stop using any Bee-harming insecticide once flowers form on plants, Please!

So gorgeous! I do love the bumbles! We have a native bee here, called a Teddy Bear. They're like a smaller, reddish version of the bumble. When they collect pollen, they land directly in the middle of the flower and vibrate. It's like watching a naughty disco dancer. And you will always here them before you see them.
I have a lot of borrage in the garden the bees love it 😉

amazing, I'll try and grow a few of them next year, if anyone out there likes attracting bees to their garden try a fuchsia magnellica– mines is one called '' riccartoni'' hundreds of bumblebees flock to it
