The plot is starting to feel jaded. It needs a makeover…

Hi…
My vine last year although was producing grapes albeit small ones, found I wasn't giving enough Water, after pruning back correctly, and placing an dedicated water supply, and feeding this year it is completely different, 100% better quality and also where I only had a few bunches, there's is possible over 90 bunches this year, I'm 60 and been gardening probably over 40 year's and still learning…
Nice videos keep them coming.
Hi Adam, thanks for the shout. I only developed an interest in vines due to your earlier posts on your vines. I think thinning the number of grapes in a bunch is required ie less grapes in a bunch = bigger individual grapes in a bunch and don't touch them. My plot is about the same (those plums made my mouth water) the rain and humid atmosphere has made the weeds shoot up particularly the bind weed. Two buckets of bind weed roots so far. Its that warm if I had a glass of whiskey or Guinness I am sure I would evaporate! I am at the plot early in the morning before it heats up. Oh yes before I forget, can I have some of those magic beans that instantly dig beds? Cheers Mike B
Nice vid. bud. Yours is looking a lot like mine. To much heat and no water here for to long. And by the way. With that plot looking the way it is next door to yours? I'd of ransacked that plum tree…lol
Awesome update thank you for sharing blessing in sharing https://www.patreon.com/lindapenney
You could try stripping off an inch or so from a knuckle, covering with runny honey around the exposed area, and I find it will set roots, then you can your own vine…
By the way if you put honey on any cuttings, push in soft good soil and water well, you'll find anything will take, its really surprising, have a try, report back in one of videos…
I wish I could help you with the grapevine mate but I just don't know enough. We met with a vintner a few months ago who said that vines are essentially weeds, and they like rubbish soil. More than that I do not know. Best of luck with your choices, they all sounded perfectly reasonable, and well done on the plums. All the best.
My broad beans got blight early this year. I was able to harvest a few handfuls though. I always enjoy your vids. Cheers!

clearing and tidying the allotment is very therapeutic to me, is it to you ?? as my old man used to say let's crack on as I can't see the wood though the trees !! I still don't know what that means even now
