This was a wonderful video. I missed the live, but I love watching you two. I know it wasn’t your intention to discuss the topic of your hardships but you blessed me and so many other by being vulnerable. I have many of the same prayers you have prayed and I am finally exercising my faith muscle and believing that God is able and WANTS to shower me with the blessings He’s promised. I have so much hope for this year and I think watching your channel has been a major part of that. I’m so grateful your garden tour popped up on my recommended list one day. I love your family and appreciate y’all so much. This is KiraiBK under a new name.
Finishing up watching your video from last night. Want to let you know how much I feel my husband and I needed to hear your words, thank you for sharing.
Hope you see this! I heard in the livestream how you were going to use heating mats for germination, and knowing how handy Jeremiah is; I instantly thought of this video I saw a while back! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04BVkVZP-5o&index=14&list=PLO4W7F1U7XPAY9qCsEXL3XQ8jOS0K2nEB&t=0s At 2:30–3:23 this lovely older gentleman goes over how he built a 4' x 8' "light box" to use for starting seeds. I can totally picture Jeremiah being able to construct it in no time, and it would be MUCH cheaper than buying those small little heat mats. It would also be a really fun build to do and film to pass the idea along!
So, watching now…. I got the biggest kick out of your response to the 4a-4b growing zone! We're in southwest Montana and I'm pretty sure we're classifed 3a-3b! Yeah….. short growing season but AWESOME place to live. I wouldn't trade it in a million years!
Sorry I missed your live feed. I am intrigued by the homestead style of life. I am a retired teacher and prices in California are way to expensive to buy property this time of my life. But, I try a lot of your seed recommendations and growing style.
I missed this live stream and it was awesome. Love the fact that you mention churches and how we have a hard time with them today I agree with a 100% and you mentioning about some people being so phony that talk about there love for god. I have found a few people in this world who I can truly feel that they are with god and both of you have him all around you and you glow with his love it’s so beautiful. I pray right now that he bless you and your family every day. And thank you for blessing us with both of you. And bless you all that make YouTube possible and continue to make this possible.
I am just now watching this, but you spoke to my heart so much. It reminded me of these lyrics from an old song:
‘Every word He's promised is true, what I thought was impossible I’ve seen my God do..
He's been faithful, Faithful to me. Looking back His love and mercy I see. Though in my heart I have questioned, even failed to believe, He's been faithful, faithful to me.”
You guys are great. Sending love from TN! @onceuponafarmstead
Just found your channel and have been binge watching. I'm in love! You are so cute, so genuine, so informative and such an inspiration. Keep on keepin' on. Love your spirit!
I just read you can use the green part of radishes for helping your intestinal walls, for better vitamin absorbtion. Going to try this spring. I got off coffee for awhile too. I substituted with chicory, it actually was really good. Might want to try it. It has a lot of benefits.
I feel the same way about coffee. I quit drinking it from time to time. And I have periods of time where I limit myself to just drinking it on the weekend.
I am watching this right now and and I am in tears and I can't cry!! I have been binge watching your channel to catch up on it and I have been so moved by a lot but this! I know you all need some privacy but the trials you have experienced help us so much!! We live in a motel room and have for over a year and sometimes I don't see an end to it. You help me to remember that other people go through things as bad and rise up and persevere. Thank you!!
I accidentally ended up on your channel when I left YouTube on after watching a tonne of 'ways to grow stuff' type videos. I loved your growing tips and walk around the garden. The story at the end of this video, however, was inspiring … a happy accident, or meant to be? Either way, it was so encouraging and spoke into the current moment of my career journey.
I'm so glad you answered that gentleman's comment about the wounded warrior project. ❤ I'm in school to finish up getting my license for mental health counseling. I plan to fo gardening as a avenue for one on one therapy for Veterans.

Already ten times your growth expectation. Well done but it is through work ethic and having the personalities you both do.
