  1. Wow, that's impressive! I know nothing at all about kiwi-growing, but wonder if it's possible to overwinter a couple in your dad's greenhouse in big pots, just in case they're not hardy.

  2. no its very hard to tell them apart later on you can with grown habits abit not normallt till flowering but they very easy to graft a piece of male on to a female or female on to a male vine then you can have one pant with both all then you have to do is keep the male in check with pruning

  3. also stake them all now to a stake as straight as you can get them so when plant they are at the high you want them then cut the tip out so you get a couple of side shoots so you can train as your fruiting arms if you dont stake them now while soft youll regret it and theyll stay the shape they are when harden

  4. They are going great guns mate. I would keep one as a house plant. Ah maybe not then with the greenhouse. Only tip I know is about yellow snow not much good with Kiwis But its a good tip all the same. They are great mate.

  5. Hi Adam, they are healthy looking plants. I understand that the hardy kiwi is the species chinensis, but the shop bought variety is likely to be deliciousa which is not hardy. I think a belt and braces approach to growing them on might be wise. Good luck.

  6. Hi Adam, Well you keep telling me how good I am at growing in pots but you DEFINITELY beat me with these kiwi trees, Good luck with them, It seems you have the right advice on here, Take care and I'll catch you on the next one.
