For a person who wants to discover the northern provinces of Canada, your journey is very inspiring! Thanks for filming your journey! 🙂
Hey, so I'm going on a similar road trip this week, and my family realized that there are no campgrounds in Waskaganish 🙁 . Do you mind helping me out in terms of how you stayed there overnight, and do you know if they'll let you camp there like without a campground?
Fabulous documentary! I've done numerous fly-in remote bush fishing trips east of there over the years, but have never been to the coast. The farthest north on the James Bay Highway I've traveled is KM 381.Such a remote, wild and beautiful land which was unfortunately devastated by huge wild fires a few years ago. Someday I'd like to get to Radisson and see the Quebec Hydro complex there. Thanks again. (Form Ohio.)
How. What a very nice person is that guy. Hope there were more like him around the world.

Greetings from Florida! Far different world here than north-central Canada!
Always like these kind of adventure vids. Only if we had YouTube back in '92 when I traveled to Alaska on the Alaska Highway from BC through the Yukon into Alaska to Fairbanks and back to load up on YouTube for everyone to watch.
It's fortunate you ran into Ken. He's very proud of his home. Glad you filmed him for future generations to appreciate.
My Wife and I have been up to Waskaganish twice. Q in Winter and 1 in Summer. Sence we were first there in 2918 they have Paved a lot of the Town Roads and as of 2019 2 to 2 Km of the Road out of Town. The Cree People have a Great Faith in Jesus. They show a Love that We have Not seen in the rest of Canada. Great People.
