When the sunflowers die in the fall, do you pull out the whole plant? or do you leave the roots in the ground? Thanx
A very good looking harvest. My romaine lettuce back in Calgary bolted a month ago.
Sunflower update: They are doing great lots of heads and I think my soil should extremely charged now. I am in LV now and will update upon return in couple of weeks.
One advantage that I can take by using fabric is to balance the daylight (16+ hours in May, June and July)
Nice update, Mark. Seed or seedlings a month ago?
You read my mind…I was looking for an update on this. Glad to hear you have chefs / customers who search out and appreciate good, clean, organic grown food. Thanks
Really nice crop the cover did the job ! ๐ I still need to find out how to avoid slug damage n my butterhead lettuces they don't touch iceberg tough ๐
Great job! Those romaine heads look pretty good.
Was wondering why you didn't plant two rows under there…you have plenty of room to do so.
Hi friend where are you locate I'm in Florida but they are telling me that I can't grow romain here? ??
Thank for the info…in what season you plant this crop in the grown ??
