  1. you should try dakion and let them go into the fall and get hit by frost then make sure to peel the outter skin off and they have no heat, alot of the heat from radish comes from the skin.

  2. How about a broccoli growing guide? I know u made a video about saving broccoli seeds. Btw, ur videos are inspiring! I'm enjoying my garden this year, and coming up with ideas to try for next year.

  3. I'm growing radishes in containers in winter. They grow slowly and don't get very big, but they still grow. 2 long months until spring!

  4. I grew some vegetable this year for the first time and my radishes came out great using peat free compost, I tried some other vegetables in peat free and got nowhere until I transferred them into multi purpose compost. From this conclusion I'd say radishes are very easy to grow and aren't very fussy.
Looking into Organic growing now for the future 😀

  5. I have French Breakfast and Watermelon radishes in my garden right now.  My first planting only had a few seeds come up, so I planted the rest a little late, but hopefully not too late.  I have some of the French Breakfast to harvest today, and I harvested a Watermelon radish last week.  I sliced it open, was impressed with how beautiful it was, handed a slice to my husband, grabbed a slice for myself, and it was hotter than any radish I had ever tasted!  It got put in some vinegar and pickled overnight for on salads.  🙂

  6. Hey Luke, I just watched your video and read the comments.  I have grown French breakfast and black Spanish radishes.  My favorite is the French breakfast.  I just bought watermelon radish seeds, now I am sorry I did, I didn't want super spicy radishes.  Thanks tor the info on the cherry belle, I need a shorter season radish here in Texas.

  7. MIGARDENER!!!!!. I'm growing the same type of radish as you. Cherry belle. I live in Queensland Australia and my radish leaves are tiny and a lot smaller in height. A question. How long does it take for radish to seed?

  8. Hi there

Just got a general question in regards to this type of radish. I have recently planted my own cherry belle radish and still waiting for it to be ready to harvest but my main question is- when should i expect the radish pods for this? so that i can re seed them etc?

  9. I just ate my best radish from pot. It was so diferent from store radishes, so better. Altought the other radieshes i'm wating to grow are kind of slow…

  10. I'm planting my first food, thanks for the inspiration. I'm excited to watch radish grow, trying out Giant Crimsons. I'm staring them in seed trays half peet moss half organic raised bed potting mix. thanks for showing me how to maximize growing space too I plan to grow a bunch in pots about an inch apart. hopefully they don't crack. I'm also growing kale and lettuce in 15gallon containers woohoo. and I've started saving food scraps for homemade compost. thanks for the great tips and valuable content for everyone.

  11. My radishes have been growing since I planted them 31 days ago. the seed packet said 22 days to harvest so I'm wondering if the cold weather we had stunted their growth at first. I've only just noticed the radish part sticking out of the soil a few days ago, and they're not as big as the ones he has here yet.
