  1. If you flick or shake the stem of indoor seedlings, full grown plants, and tree's it simulates wind which helps promote thicker stems/trucks. This is especially helpful for 100% indoor trees which tend to be lanky with a skinny stem/truck indoors. A oscillating fan does exactly this which is why a lot of people use them for starting seedlings indoors although after a certain point a fan is no longer efficient for tree's this is when I begin to shake the trunk. Hope this helps someone 🙂

  2. Just ordered a banana tree and orange tree and fertilizer from Larry's Orchids. Thanks for the hook up luke. My wife works for Small Business Developement of West Virginia and she was really impressed with the way you plug for small businesses. And since we had 60+ temps the last 2 days i was out checking the new beds. If you remember me telling you, i put produce scraps down and covered with leaves. there are worms everywhere underneath. So its doing what i hoped it would do.

  3. mangos don't particularly like it but can handle some once they get bigger, and avacoados are in the same family ad mangos and that like it as well, but only once they are well established.

  4. Been watching different channels and I choose to germinate seeds in paper towel for my lemon, mandarin, kumkwats.
All but the kumkawts are opening showing growth at 1 to 2 weeks and moved to small dirt of containers.
What I need to know is,
When can I move them from the heating pad to the sunny window? or grow lights?
    Thanks,
love the new glasses I need to draw your picture in them ehehe..

  5. just one question. can you prune a mango tree? I had some problems with mine and I don't know if I should cut the growing tip or not. I looked this up and couldn't find anything about pruning mango trees. If you know something about this please let me know. Thank!

  7. Glad I watched this for pruning citrus. I've been waiting to prune mine, but they are a little over a year old now. Vary between 9-20 inches… Probably time to clip em.

  8. use a low fertilizer like 4-4-4 or 5-5-5 an feed it more often then using a high fertilizer like 12-8-9 an feeding less often banana's like even fertilizer….an dont let it dry out completely it cause cause damage to the crom an present problems during flowering an last a good sunning window oooo an keeping it in to small of a pot can slow growth down big time.. an push off flowering a good year or so!!
