Geraniums otherwise known as pelargoniums are easily propagated from cuttings as I demonstrate here in this video. Thankyou for watching!

This is interesting. What would you estimate is your success rate, and how long should it take for roots to take hold so the plant can be moved to a flower bed?
Just to clarify, Honey is not actually a rooting hormone, per say, all plants produce natural rooting hormone. Honey is antimicrobial and anti-fungal so it protects the cutting but its not actually synthesizing the hormone action at all. Geraniums are easy to root you can do it in water or dirt, its wonderful <3
Geranium propagation for garden dummies. Had no idea that honey could be used to propagate. Will the honey also work with other plants or is it effective only on plants with a stiff strong stem? Thanks for the Video.
Thanks so much for this video . I just received my first geranium yesterday . I did some research and learnt they are easy to grow from cuttings . But question – how soon ( approximately ) will the geranium be full size and able to bloom , from that cutting?
I’m in Punta Gorda , Fl Great for lots of plants I’m interested in scented plants. What do u think ? I have t ever done cuttings but know how to dead head the dying stems and do. Thank you .

Honey has been used in first aid application for its antibiotic properties.
Thank you! Great info. I was trying to propagate mine in water but not doing so well. The honey idea is great too.
thanks for a very clear information yo gave, I'm gonna try soon, pray me!
Very informative . Thank you. I will be giving them a go this year .
Very helpful. Had never heard of the honey for rooting hormone. Does it need to be over a "joint" where the roots might come out?

Honey is not a rooting hormone and does absolutely nothing for rooting cuttings. The honey thing is a wives tale.
