Circa 1828 by what we are told! What an amazing place of days gone by! This old homestead awaits someone. It certainly needs extreme love and care, but the possibilities are endless. It’s located in Madisonville, Tennessee. We finally made a point to look at it on our way to NC after years of curiosity. It’s for sale! It’s amazing to go back in our hearts and minds to days gone by. We certainly hope someone will restore it all back to it’s splendor! I assure you there is much history here! Enjoy & thanks for watching! xo

Wonderful adventure. As a Realtor, I would have been right in there with you–complete with my bug repellent, flashlight, and other things I carry with me. LOL I love old homes like this. I always find myself thinking about the original owners and how this was their dream home. So much love and care went into its building. SO much beauty from the past and so much potential.
Beautiful. I love old houses and old barns.
Your State should take it over, and save this historic beauty.
I can feel the history.
Oh, if only the walls could talk!
Wonder if anyone bought it
Ms. Patera, if walls could talk this house would be a good place to start.
Those chiggers and copperheads weren’t that worrisome with each step of curiosity that was taken lol. Loved it
Hello Patara! Thanks for sharing this tour! I love watching your videos so I subscribed.. Maybe its the result of me watching too many paranormal documentaries and its possible that its gone to my head at this point, but has anyone noticed the light passing in front of you (following a 'sound' from the audio of you camera between 9:22 – 9:24…?
Once was an elegant home… love to know more about the history….when you came down the stairs the last time… looked like a spirit orb went right in front of you…
Unbelievable! I don't think I blinked the whole time.
What a shame! If only that property could talk. Beautiful property.
I thoroughly enjoyed this.
I see this was three years ago, what has happened to this place since?
So sad this has happened to this property. Thanks for the tour …
That was so cool!! I can imagine what it was like in it's heyday. The wallpaper looked like maybe 1920's-30's… My hubby has a cousin who renovates old houses in Galveston and now a TV show called "Big Texas Fix". Everything they do is about saving these old houses, many built before the big hurricane in 1900. Thanks for taking us on the tour!
Love, love, love. I would love an old home that someone has lovingly restored with new copper plumbing and electricity. Next year we will be on the hunt!
I love old houses!!!!!! It would be perfect with more land
What an awesome place..I would have loved to fix it up. Can you please update if it was sold and restored.. thanks for showing us.. love all your videos
I can only imagine the family/families that have lived there. Easy to picture the holidays when maybe the whole family could get together and enjoy a meal. I just fell in love with the barn! Thank you for sharing.
Love this!!!
This is an awesome home! Missing picture rail along the ceilings in the main rooms. Would LOVE to take that project on!!!
That home is haunted!!! You know it is!
I want to get my mower and mow all of that!
I could stay there all day.
