I am classing this video as an experiment as I’ve never tried this before but from what I know, most things are right! 2 days later and the cuttings are looking healthy so there should be some roots soon! A thanks to GardenFrugal who inspired me to try this out:

  1. it only works if you got plants to get suckers from though ๐Ÿ˜‰ great instructions now for an update when two weeks from now ? Keep up the good work Huw's ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Hmmm. Shouldn't, then, we be able to strike cuttings from Cape Gooseberries in the same way? After all, they are just another member of the Solanaceae; and rather tomato-ish too, in a way. Might be fun to try! And quicker than waiting ages for seeds to grow and develop into new plants. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  3. i am new to planting but removing the suckers helps the plant right and then turning it into anther plant is a plus and their is no waste. can some tell me if this is right? thank you in advance
