  1. Curtis
We have extremely hot weather in August here in northern Calif . I was reluctant to start my winter crops in August. Our winters are very mild compared to most with the temps rarely dipping below 30 degrees although we do have freezing nights ocasionally . Can I get by with starting crops in october ? Today is October 18 and the temps today was 79 ? Night temps are dropping in the 40ish .

  2. People love La roquette … Off course !
Hummm un peu de roquette fraiche avec un filet de vinaigre balsamique, un peu d'oignon rouge et de tomates + un bon steak avec sa sauce de cuisson au beurre … miaaammmm, un régale !

  3. you are inspiring to watch. I live in Philadelphia, pa and do a little gardening. hope to one day put your ideas to work. keep up the fantastic work.

  4. At the end of your video, when you say you have 2 or 3 other crops in the same bed at the same time with arugula, what do you mean? Can you explain? I do not understand how you get that many crops in a single bed at once. I am learning a lot from your videos. Thank you.

  5. Just bought 10 trays holding 72 plugs. so 720 plugs for Arugula. But I have 10 3ftX 50Ft. beds. No customers yet. just starting. Making about 20 more beds this year. Not sure if I should box in a 3×50 bed assigned for Asparagus. I think ill start with Arugula, Radishes, Spinach, Carrots, Kale grows great in Ohio, and micro veggies

  6. Arugula? What is this herb? What does it taste like? It looks bizarre. I thought it was thyme, but really what is it? How can this be so popular that I've never heard of it? Wow, that's an interesting leaf. "In Australia and New Zealand, it's called rocket…"
    Oh…

  7. Hi Curtis, I've been watching your videos for some time, And I don't know if this is a dumb question or not, but here it goes !
Some crops are really hard to clean up after… like arugula.
It kind of spreads super strong roots…
How do you clean that bed after arugula? What would you plant after ?
    Thank you!
    Thanks for all the videos!
    Greetings from Chile 🙂

  8. Curtis hello,
I buy sylvetta at Johny's but dtm is 50 days. Its to long for me, I live at Mediterranean, and before its grow full its go to flower.
Can you tell me what variety is 21 dtm?
    Cheers

  9. Have you ever had growing problem with arugula? Im growing Astro (the more rounded leaf) and im getting great germination but then about 2 weeks in certain parts of the bed grow bigger than the others and Im getting weird purple and yellow leaves. Any ideas what this could be? Overwatering maybe??

  10. Question: Why my arugula as soon as bring leafs,I see holes on the leafs.
Are these seeds also with eggs of insects? in the bag?
    Please I need help.
I planted 3 times from different bags and still the same problem.
    What to do?

  11. I love the flavor of Arugula in my salads – AND – it is one of the most nutritive brassica that is anti-cancer, anti-heart disease and anti-toxins. It amazes me that it's not available in groceries because it really is easy to grow. I have an entire 8×4 bed of it in my backyard garden and grow it year round. In summer I use 30% shade cloth and LOTS and LOTS of water and succession planting (in NC 7b)
