I love your channel,. when we tucked my hubby's apple trees (grown from seeds) under the maples everyone thought we were nuts, the by veggie plots also shaded by them, but everywhere else we just plant wherever we g feel it should grow! Thanks for educating and encouraging us always! tytyty!

Thanks for sharing your wisdom! We moved in to a new home this year and acquired an organic garden surrounding by a fence. All has been great until recently when the squirrels and groundhogs have shown up to devour the squash and tomatoes. I adore these creatures and understand that we have to share our space – it's theirs too. So – it seems that the best way to protect my harvest is to get a dog?
James I live in the Pacific Northwest and I have a lot of wild food growing in my 5 acre back yard such as thimbleberry, black raspberries, hazelnuts, and more completely Wild so if you want some unique and hardy plants I suggest researching wild plants in your area and plant some in your garden. That goes to everyone who reads this.

Beautiful! Great to see everything doing so well. Question for you – I don't have a dog and am not looking to get one. Squirrels are a huge problem for me – they literally stripped hundreds of apples off my trees well before they were ripe (took one bite and threw them on the ground) and now they are stealing green tomatoes and doing the same thing. What are some other things I can do to work with nature and still have a fruit harvest?
Since you have a lot of raspberries, can you tell me if it’s normal for the plant to turn brown after flowering? My plants have plenty of fruit , but the plants seem like it’s going to die. Thanks for your video

Love it. I have an 18 month old forest in Australia. Just berries, a couple apples and a grafted pear. No layers as yet. Eagerly awaiting the lack of Frosty mornings. First day of spring today. My chips are down and the soil is beaut. I'm going by feel because I'm almost blind. Thanks for the videos brother.

James, you might want to try growing "the three sisters". Cherokee's have been growing these for many years. You grow a stalk of corn with a bean vine to grow up the corn for support & squash under the corn stalk. The corn stalk & bean shades the squash. Try it. Best to U and Tuck.
