YOU MUST HAVE TEN GREEN THUMBS. THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR FOOD FOREST. YOU ARE AWESOME.
I just discovered your channel, James and am very impressed with your descriptions and camera work. You're a great advocate for Permaculture!
Haha possessed with tomatoes… I'm obsessed with tomatoes!! Nice vid keep them coming
That clickbait though! LOL
Christ likes you, the old me would not watch this. Verily
Do you move your tomato plants from year to year?
and
What do you do with the remaining plant in winter?
I hope this question is not ..ignorant..sigh..how do you know when you plant which are determanent or not?..
I just found one of your videos, an old one of your very beginning of your garden. WoW..thrilled beyond belief because this is where I am. Just had a second load of free wood chip dumped in the yard. I have shy of an acre here in Nor Cal..a fairly new canvas to create on. Two volenter cherrie trees, two walnuts. Just got young trees one apple, one tangerine..a meyers lemmon.. just cleared the NE side of the property..really want to put peach trees in next spring..love your videos my friend, keeps me growing and dreaming..thank you James
Beautiful tomatoes, James!
We love the picture. It is great!
Great advice 🙂 thanks for sharing 🙂
Excellent video ! ! Tomatoes will grow into December in parts of California.
thx bruh bruh
Loving your videos, James. I watched one a couple days ago where you told the dimensions of your garden area but I can't seem to find the specific video again. Could you please post those dimensions here? Trying to get some feel for what will be possible with our backyard food forest we are just starting. Thanks so much and keep those videos coming.
I'm so sad because it's been very hot where we live for weeks and so the tomato blossoms keep shriveling up. Also I've got leaf footed beetles and their devil spawn sucking on all my tomatoes. We had huge harvests thru July and this is the time every year I have to kiss my fresh tomatoes goodbye because the beetles win every time. They even fly at my face when I get near or shake the cages. Hate 'em!! I will say that the tomato plants that aren't next to other tomato plants and are interplanted with different plants don't get the beetles as much. They really enjoy congregating (and mating) in my rows of tomato plants.
Wow I actually learned some things.
I have a small structure made of windows that I scored from the trash… I think it was meant to be a cold frame structure? I also have a small greenhouse structure with the plastic covering that was given to me. Will both work the same for seed starting? Or, would the greenhouse structure be warmer do you think, and maybe better for things like tomato and cucumber starts?
Yo broham …you got seed squirt on your shirt!
Juicy! So good. You can't make this stuff up, the proof is in the pudding!
Awesome content! With transplanting, would it work to take a larger branch and plant it in a pot indoors after the outdoor season to continue production through the winter? Or would they not produce that way? Thanks!
Very helpful
James, we are loving all your vids. we are going to start our permaculture food forest this spring (so not ideal as we won't have the ground prepared). Love your idea of using old t-shirts as garden ties. I am not keen on plastic ties as they will be affected by the sun and in time disintegrate and also not great for the environment and avoiding buying plastic!
Is a tomato a plant that can grow many years ore wil it die and u have to plant it again
