https://skypots.com/ My friend Ryan Benoit of The Horticult just launched SkyPots, a way to turn any normal pot w/ a drainage hole into hanging pots that you can chain together.
You could definitely DIY something like this, but some of the design choices Ryan made I really prefer over a DIY – the sealed flanges prevent leaking while also allowing diffused drainage to the pots below. It’s also REALLY sturdy and keeps the pots from moving around or jiggling.
Ryan has been an engineer for 20 years, but is in love and obsessed with plants just like I am. This is his first project and it’s been really fun to see him put so much effort and time into it, and I really want to see this succeed for him. I figured I’d bring it to you guys to see what you thought!

Wow! This is one of those simple things that makes me go "duh, why didn't anyone think of this before?" Lol. Very cool creation, I put it on my Christmas list and shared about it!
Great idea!
Just loved it.
This would be fabulous on my patio. I'm heading over to make a purchase. Thanks for sharing!
Please start shipping this to europe!
Are those bromeliads in the video? Do you use soil for them?
Genious!
This is freaking brilliant. Placing my order soon!
I like it how can I get it
Even though the Kickstarter campaign didn’t meet goal, I was able to go to Skypots.com to place an order.
I have been making my own hanging pots lately & looking for new ideas…this is genius. BTW….digging the sweaty underboobs…..I so feel ya…last 2 weeks n greenhouse have been a killer. I end up watering myself as much as plants lmao.
He should totally make some stands too that they can hang from…he can use like floor lamp weighted base & poles….if he uses a T on the top of the stand then u can hang from both sides & that will help with the balance versus making the weighted base do all the work. Plus it could come n pieces & b put together just like a floor lamp. I can see so many uses for this. So badass
Why not just make these yourself? Super easy, super cheap, and you can take pride in your work
I love this idea. I ordered, thank you Ryan. New subscriber and I shared this on Facebook.
It's very beautiful
I invented that to….5 years ago..
Wouldn’t these rust with watering after a while? Would that not cause an issue later?
genius!
