  1. Patara, I love to cook and bake anything made with flour. I never learned how to bake biscuits and I thought Youtube could help. YOU my friend taught me how to make biscuits and I am forever thankful! 🙂

  2. I've made 2 ingredient biscuits, but your recipe for these lard biscuits was the first time I've attempted it, and I succeeded! They are amazing! Just like Grandma's biscuits! Only difference is that Grandma used three tablespoons of lard and two tablespoons of bacon grease lolol which I'll try whenever I gather enough grease lolol but thank you so much!!!!!

  3. We purchased a local red waddle pig, this is my first time using lard. I’m going to try your biscuits. I normally don’t eat them because they are doughy in the center.

  4. I use the same pan, but don't care for the taste of biscuits made with Lard. We much prefer low salt real Butter. I use Self Rising Flour, 1- stick of Buttermilk, 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar, and 1 Cup Buttermilk. High compliments everywhere. Oh yeah, I cook them at 475. I hear the steam from the higher heat make them rise more. Mine were 1-1/2" tall this morning and very fluffy. Made sausage gravy too. YUM..
