Patara, I love to cook and bake anything made with flour. I never learned how to bake biscuits and I thought Youtube could help. YOU my friend taught me how to make biscuits and I am forever thankful! 🙂
Will snow cap lard work
What brand of lard would you suggest since I don’t have access to pure lard?
Great singing! Love it ! We processed our lard pigs last year (Mangalitsas) . Still need to render ; maybe today . Can’t wait to make some biscuits . Great video.
HunTEEEEEEEEEE!
I fell in love with your accent the recipe was a bonus!
off topic, ever made pineapple pie? my mon use to make it and never seen anything the way she made it?
I feel truly sorry for folks who have never had a lard biscuit with butter and molasses.
Your cute
Thank you
Lots of love there
Your happy!♥️
Patricia
I have that same yellow bowl that I make biscuits in 🙂
You make me want to go bake a pan of biscuits.
Yum !!
I've made 2 ingredient biscuits, but your recipe for these lard biscuits was the first time I've attempted it, and I succeeded! They are amazing! Just like Grandma's biscuits! Only difference is that Grandma used three tablespoons of lard and two tablespoons of bacon grease lolol which I'll try whenever I gather enough grease lolol but thank you so much!!!!!
My new FAV youtuber!
You are "Cute as a Bugs Ear"! Love the video!!!
We purchased a local red waddle pig, this is my first time using lard. I’m going to try your biscuits. I normally don’t eat them because they are doughy in the center.
Lucky U for having your own homemade Lard !!
I'm from Karnataka , Indian Union , I just loved your video , your video is as wholesome as lard
I use the same pan, but don't care for the taste of biscuits made with Lard. We much prefer low salt real Butter. I use Self Rising Flour, 1- stick of Buttermilk, 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar, and 1 Cup Buttermilk. High compliments everywhere. Oh yeah, I cook them at 475. I hear the steam from the higher heat make them rise more. Mine were 1-1/2" tall this morning and very fluffy. Made sausage gravy too. YUM..
You are the whole package Patara. God is using you in a beautiful way.
The video was really helpful! I made some following this recipe using my own bacon lard, and they turned out fluffy, filling, and delicious! Thank you very much!
