DIY raised garden bed made easy! In this video, I show you step-by-step how to build the simplest raised garden bed to easily get your vegetables and flowers growing the right way! You only need three tools (screw gun, sander, saw) and about a half hour of your time. Building (ha!) off of the popularity and requests from the previous DIY Elegant Garden Beds, I was asked “how would you build the SIMPLEST bed?”. Well, that’s super easy….4 boards and some nails…..but come on, that’s neither fun, nor is it practical. Those 6-inch high beds will be over run with grass and weeds in no time, and how can you grow potatoes and carrots and beets that shallow? Plus, who wants to work down so low, breaking their backs all day long? Let’s ramp it up the tiniest of knotches and build something actually useful! 15 inches tall, this bed is different (better) than the other simple beds you see that are a single layer. This bed allows you to properly grow deeper-rooted vegetables such as carrots and potatoes! It can be built to ANY size and dimension! Come check it out…you’ll be amazed at how simple it really is.

Can we use any type of wood to make the bebs? And if not, what are the difference between each type (treated, finition, MDF, …) ?
Hi question what is the dimensions of the brace?
You mentioned staining the wood. What is a safe stain to use? Plus, I wS under the impression that pressure treated lumber no longer has chemicals like arsenic. Not true?
