I guess those Potatoes will need a name. P, B and A? Hope the bags do the job. At least you will be able to take them in if there is chance of frost. Your other spuds have great chits, which I envy. All mine look like MONSTERS hehhee.
I'm sorry, LOL. You garden about the same as my spouse. Oh, these potatoes are bad, let's put them in some soil and see what happens! LOL, I hope your crop is better than his were. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe.
That's quite the wrinkly bag you have buddy!! Nice to see your TPS PBA specials hitting the soil!! I'm growing your sarpos via Willie, so I am pumped about scabby sarpos, lol:))
Hi Adam i use grow bags simply because someone gave them to me no longer needed….. Chitting potatoes is a must gives em a fighting chance… i have many varieties growing now all my own potatoes from last year…. here seed potatoes are expensive ….. i keep so many back as my seed …. store them in hessian potato bags in my garage…. until January /February time {{{ those seed with long chits / sprouts are fine just leave em Be…. lets face it that's how they all grow once they are in the dirt…. most of mine have leggy sprouts {{{ i get pounds of pots from them …:- OK Adam hope your venture into growing from bags is a success.. im sure it will be …. Oh just one thing don't forget to feed them through the growin season a good branded potato fertiliser works wonders…………………Ed
Never seen those type of bags over here before. Looking forward to watching how they work for ya! Looks cool anyway right? Have a great week buddy!
You are DEFINITELY a great chitter!
Great Video Adam
Bags with windows! Nice.
Beautiful kitty! 🙂
My TPS are now on their 3rd year and should produce a good crop hopefully, definitely needed to leave the chits on or they may not have made it as they looked soft.

Hi Adam, I bought a potato kit from Thompson & Morgan that was advertised in the paper. It consisted of 3 Maris Piper spuds and 3 bags. The bags are approximately 12" square. They said that in their trials they found that 1 spud in a small bag cropped much better than putting 3 in a large bag. Just have to wait and see. I will show you the next time you are over. Dave.
Good luck with the tsp. I hope mine do ok this year 😉 I need to get my spuds in..
Cheers Dave
Hi Adam, have allways grown my spuds in containers except when clearing new ground. I will be following the progress and best of luck. Take care Mike B
Adam, can't wait to see how these do this year for you. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy the week! catherine
I have used those bags before Adam, they work well and easy to move about as needed. The Sarpo's are looking good.
Take care my friend
Cheers
Harold
Just be aware that the lighter green grow bag you probably bought at Poundland is not UV treated. I had 3 of the same last year, put them on my patio and completely disintegrated by the end of summer, littering the environment around it with degrading plastic bag pieces. Very poor quality, wouldnt use it again. Not suitable for the purpose it is sold for. 🙁 It is the top one at 1:13
I'm starting about 45 plants from my Russian Blue TPS
I have subscribed to your channel, will you subscribe to my channel.
Have a nice day.
Really interesting – it'll be fascinating to find out what they taste like – I've read the TSPs don't match the parent spud and are significantly different. Thanks for sharing 🙂
Hi Adam, I’m sure they’ll do great for you. The fact that the spuds have long chits will be fine. Take care. Nick
good luck with your potatoes grow from your true potato seeds !! all the best Simon & Adam
Good luck!
I just bought a big bag of Charlottes, more than I really can plant, I'll be sticking them everywhere I think! I only have our front yard (garden) and I use pots and buckets mostly. Someday I hope to get a house with a good garden area (we rent here). I'm new at potatoes, do I need to let them chit or sprout before I plant them?
