I used to pick and eat all the cherry tomatoes my grand parents grew. Looking back I think my Grand Father planted them just for me. 🙂

When do you harvest your little container garden?

I thought you may like to know that raw runner beans contain small levels of lectin. This is a toxin which can make you very sick, that is contained in larger amounts in other beans and is the reason you shouldn't eat undercooked kidney beans. Some people are less susceptable to this (my husband, and presumably you and your boys) however when my husband fed me raw runners I was really unwell so it may be worth mentioning as I'm sure you wouldn't want any unsuspecting viewers getting unwell after seeing you guys eat them without issue.
I am waiting for the last frost now. I'm counting the days, and watching garden smarties.
