Once I have evaluated this product for several more months I will write a comprehensive review about it in our reviews section on www.selfsufficientme.com

  1. G'day Mark, love your videos mate. I'm gonna be moving up to the sunny coast next year and want to know if theres any way to grow spinach in the sub-tropics? indoors near a window or other ways? or is it just to much drama and should stick to Egyptian spinach and other gear?
    Love your work mate,
    Cheers!

  2. heya Mark
Great solar waterer you got there
One thing that would be helpful maybe, is to know the head (or in this case suck) of the pump. What is the max height the pump can suck up the water ? an easy test would be handy. I suppose when you place it in a well, and the lift suck would me 4 mtrs or more, that might pose a prob ? For the rest it looks like a pretty great solution. What's the price abouts ? I have been trying stuff out with pumps, solar & stuff.
    Cheers !

  3. Hey Mark… nice demo and explanation, it really does seem like ingenious piece of equipment. It must free up a bit of watering time for you to concentrate on other things as well. Cheers for the video, Adam 🙂

  4. Just a quick question, do you provide most of your family's food needs from the garden, plus eggs and poultry? We just bought a block at clear mountain near samford and hope to follow in your foot steps. We have spent the last 9 years living in Hong Kong in a tiny apartment in a concrete jungle, Can't wait
