I got some garlic from MI Gardener and oh dear, my 2 dogs which are German Shepherd and Husky mix went through them. No garlic for me….next time I will put it in the raise beds.

I planted mine in November and mulched with leaves. Should I remove the leaf mulch in the spring?
11:29 Yes, you can cover with straw or pretty much any mulch you can get your hands on.
Like the leaves that are all around that garden bed! Amazing how such a precious resource goes to waste. Particularly when it's just THERE for the pick.
No need to pay for it, not difficult to get… What more can you ask for?!

I heard when planting garlic to not break it off the main stem until you are ready to plant it.
I'd love to see a video on harvesting and drying it. I live in Dallas, my garage faces west, and in the summer it gets to the approximate temperature of the sun in there, so I'd love ideas on how to dry it not in the garage.
Thanks for this video. One question I have is what is your process on watering the garlic? I tried for the 1st time planting garlic last Fall. It was nice to see them sprout in the Spring. However, I was not really sure when to harvest and how much watering they needed? Any advise on these two questions would be helpful. Thank you again!
Can you plant this in Earthboxes if living in your region, would it survive the Winter? Even if you kept it on a porch so it doesn't get snow on top?

In Australia we get a lot of Garlic Imported, mainly from China, we try to stay away from, they used to be so cheap it ruined our own industry, but slowly coming back.
There’s obviously some imports from Egypt, Spain France and USA.
Garlic like onions are easy to grow, just in Sydney Australia we have had a warmer season than usual for the past 3 years.
