  1. I had to move mine around after watching this because they were to close together. They were small but you think they will survive the move? Also I have bell peppers planted about two feet away. Should I move those over?

  2. Hello what about watering squash bush how much water need ?? Cause it is not giving flower neither fruit just trunk getting bigger and lots of leaves and big size and higher ??

  3. I know this is an older video, but in growing zone 8 during the middle of summer, will i need to start a second wave of summer squash seedlings going? Or will my initial plants continue to produce all summer and fall long? I am having an issue where im not really seeing any new flowering going on and so i am wondering if this initial set of plants have reached the end of their lifecycles.

  4. I am against any color of zucchini that is not green. Green zucchini can be confused with cucumbers by the unwary which is a source of great mirth. Squash beetles seem to be more of a problem where I live than the borers. I never knew that it was a heavy nitrogen feeder. I use a lot of cow and horse manure but will be using chicken, rabbit, sheep and goat manure when I start keeping chickens, rabbits, sheep and goats. I already have twenty baby laying chicks but they are too young to produce much fertilizer yet. I will use their used wood chips when they become soiled. I use the pine wood chips as a covering for the bottom of their tub.
    Thanks for the watering tips.

  5. Even though my squash is on a hill and the leaves don't stay wet, I always have mildew. Have you found an effective way to treat the mildew? I haven't figured out any nonharmful way that works. Thanks.

  6. I love your videos! They have helped me be successful with a variety of crops. I live in southeast Texas so weather can be extreme. I grew black beauty zucchini from seed this year and they are be! I have an unusual auto though and wondered if you might have insight. My zucchini plant has grown a massively huge fruit and the flower still hasn’t opened. Do you go ahead and harvest them when that happens or wait until it opens and gets pollinated?
