Yes. I've used tons of grass clippings for 46 years! Never had disease or pest problems and never pruned. Love grass clippings best.

thank you for the tips still putting all my compost in the garden. Our season is short buy it is finally getting HOT. I went to school in kentucky now Canada is home sweet home. Now is growing season.

I use grass clippings also. Keeps weeds down and holds moisture.
Nothing like homegrown !!! Are most of your tomato plants determinate or indeterminate? Hybrid or heirloom? Does the grass clippings as mulch create weeds for the next season? I am trying so hard to grow a good crop in my small space. Want it to produce and not just be a waste of my time. Hope you can advise and help me .
