@The Gardening Channel With James Prigioni Did you ever plant Jerusalem artichoke?
What song do you have playing while you're pruning the bushes?
What type you have it?
Thanks for the tips!
WE HAD A BLACK BEAR RUN THROUGH OUR GARDEN ONE TIME!!!!!! BUT WE'VE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO GROW BLACKBERRIES!!!!!!!
Do they produce suckers?
Great info…. What is the song playing?
Tuck is darling. ♥️♥️♥️
I was taught to leave exhausted canes in place til they go completely dried and brittle because the roots want to reabsorb the sap. Great vid, thanks.
Words of wisdom and encouragement. Thanks again and again James (aka 'Jersey farm boy'). This summer I did my first large scale berry harvest on a farm here in the NW of Oregon and you tips are on point. Great teaching my flourishing friend. Grow for it!
I planted two blackberry bushes this past spring. Ate delicious fruit and now I need to prune. Thanks for your informative videos. I always learn something useful and I enjoy watching your puppy.
Thanks for the great lesson. We were blessed with 3 types of berries this year. So, as you might imagine, the perma stalks have really takin over. I highly recommend the thornless tripleberry variety. They are huge and so tasty! All Glory to the Most High, who gives ALL the increase! ❤️
hello james do you know if it is the same way to do pruning on blueberry.
That was the perfect training video for me! Thank you. Great job.
Learning from you never gets old. I adore your enthusiasm and willing to share your knowledge with others. Bless you and yours for all you do and give.
Do you (or could you) root the blackberry canes that you cut off to produce more plants?
How do I prune a first-year blackberry plant where the suckers didn't bear fruit?
lol. I watched the whole video in a state of utter confusion because my bushes look completely different. Than you said BLACKberries one more time and I realised: Mine are BLUEberries. Anyway, thanks for the great content . And I actually do have a neglected blackberry, which this year produced two berries. So maybe I can turn it around with this information.
Please do not speak so fast. I cannot follow you. I love your videos and I am from NJ. So I need all you can teach me.
All my berries are dry and tasteless.
Thank you, James! You are my favorite young gardener ~wise and knowledgeable beyond your years!
