VIDEO: 5 Tips How to Grow a Ton of Salad in Just One Raised Garden Bed or Container

This video shows 5 tips on how I grow several varieties of salad plants in just one small raised garden bed. We cover lettuce, spinach, and other salad crops to get the most out of a small space in the garden. Thanks for your support!

  1. Great tips Mark! As a novice/rookie gardener I appreciate these kind of videos. Quick question in regard to fertilizer…
I don't have access to manure and I'm not familiar with compost tea. I have a small composter but could I successfully use a quality commercial fertilizer for my salad plants?

  2. I learn so much 'hearty' information from you! Thanks for the work you put into each of your videos! I did YouTube for a bit so I appreciate just how much work goes into putting out a solid video. Thank you for your efforts! The results speak for themselves. From South Africa.

  3. I like to add the malabar spinach. Not a real spinach but a climbing vine with lovely leaves. They grow even in poor soil and since it's a vine you can get a nice lot of leaves from each plant while only needing a small bit of space
