we "muslims" fast from sunrise to sunset (no eating or drinking )
I should do that more often, i often lit it slip, being grateful
Hello, why do not you use wind turbine and bulb for your greenhouse lighting problem?
Hi Curtis. My name's Enrico, I'm almost 32 years old and I live in Padova, in the north of Italy. I watched all of your videos and some, lots of times. Five minutes ago I was watching those that Diego took at steadfast farm and I felt the urge of thanking you guys for all the free content you give us on a daily basis but then, I procrastinated. It's not easy to find the words which reflect my appreciation and gratefulness for what you and others are showing and teaching, but thank you very much Curtis. I'm also a big fan of intermitting fasting and cold showers, I changed a lot mentally and also physically since I tried them a year ago. I encourage you to check out the Wim Hof method which includes cold showers and a specific breathing tecnique, if you didn't yet. Peace
lol
Love to hear about the cold showers, ive been for almost a year now! People always think your crazy when you try to talk them into taking cold showers.
Thank you Curtis. It's nice to have you share this. I enjoy the gardening videos, but it's nice to get to know the guy in front of the camera. Happy to hear you are doing new things that seem to be improving your life.
Thanks Curtis. Really interesting.
Taking stock in your own life is important, seeing what is good and being grateful for it will change how you feel and how you act. i do this when i wake up and when i close my eyes. i should also do it throughout the day.
While you in queen creek will you be doing any 1 days classes. I can miss that much work or have that much money but would love to see you speak and learn from you.
I'm so glad to exist in a time with people like you. You literally changed the future. Thanks for all you do brother!
I would suggest eating that lunch early for breakfast, and take dinner out of the equation completely, then see how you feel.
Cold showers are invigorating!
Thanks for the video Curtis. Curious, what do you think of Jordan Peterson?
I am very grateful for everything I have learned and continue to learn from your videos. Also, all your video editing and communication skills make the quality of videos great. So, thank you!!
Thank you brother. 🙂
Years ago, I went to college in Buffalo, NY. One January morning, I measured the temperature of the cold water tap — 38 degF. Wow, Curtis. Just WOW.
Righteous! One profound shift that I made was, during my cold shower, externalizing my gratitude, speaking it aloud like a prayer, and really focusing on it in my heart. Very centering.
All the successful people I listen say to be grateful and happy and start your morning that way. Sets the tone for the day. Thank you great stuff! I've been vegan for over a year now and have noticed huge difference in my health.
I don't agree with your diet. After sleep the body is craving for nutrition.. you are in a catabolic state and need to bring your body back in a building fase.. So eat some almonds at least and or take eggs with some brown rice also drink plenty of water after wake up! For the rest if you want to do fasting during the day that is fine. but don't fast in the morning! Also if you don't eat in the morning you don't kick start your metabolism and you want to have a faster metabolism so you can burn fat during the day..
We have a lot in common. Thank you for being so open and authentic. I love the way you think and take action Curtis. Great job man, hats off.
Curtis,
Well said, we should all look and be aware of our good fortune to be born in a "free"society. Many peoples live "free" but they live in a world where poverty is the rule. Their leaders are more interested exploiting whatever resource will give them short term returns than investing in long term growth. My experience in East Africa, Kenya, was an eye opener. Northwest Kenya should be a major food exporter, but it will never happen because the infrastructure does not exist to get the food to a world market. Land ownership is not even understood as we know it and most people are actually squatters! That makes the equation of how one should invest in the land they live on a tricky situation. Ownership rewards stewardship, to me that is a basic principle. It is one of the things that separates the North American experience from the Central and South American one. To all political pundits make a careful note of that i.m.h.o. Any social constructs that damage ownership will probably be detrimental to society as a whole. Curtis, your example should serve to reinforce the statement that I just made! Thanks for living that example out with joy, vigor, and purpose!
Curtis how are you doing with the IF? Are you doing Keto as well? Thanks for sharing and keep it up!
Curtis, you are so awesome that I keep toying with the idea of becoming Canadian. Seriously, correct me if I am wrong, but you seem to have more economic freedom there? Meaning, your government doesn't nickel and dime you every time you want to start a business. Here is a good example, here in the States, you need a license to do African hair braiding. Seriously?! Or here in New Jersey, to practice dental assisting, you need an x-ray certification, but the closest place to studying and taking the test for x-ray certification is two hours away and you have to attend every week for x amount of weeks. Stuff like that.
Plz eat less Animals and change there Life also…tks
Curtis, I want to tell you how important your example is for the way you approach life… so hard-working, practical and meaningful. God bless you and your family, I admire what you do and I encourage you to continue with your worthy mission. Best regards from Cancun, Mexico. Thanks so much for what you share. You are a great guy.
the best fasting is from sun up until sun down (during the day).
After watching this vlog back in Feb, 2018 my wife and I both began intermittent fasting. I'm 63 and she's 58. We were both getting a bit on the heavy side at that point but since then we have each lost over 30 lbs (13 1/2 Kilos) and are very close to our "ideal weight". We feel great and wanted to thank you…it was your sincerity coming through in this talk that gave us the confidence to try it. We both agree that this has indeed "changed our lives" for good. You can tell Rob Davis thanks for us too!
