  1. I just love you! You have the most beautiful smile and you can just see God's love oozing out of you! I wish I lived close to you just to meet you but unfortunately I live in Dalton Ohio and that's way too far from you. I don't homestead or raise anything because of my back but I love watching so many of you do the homesteading thing and I love it! I'm subscribed to you, Justin Rhodes, Art & Bri, Holler Homestead, & Sow the Land! I watch all the videos every day and have caught up on a lot of the vlogs. I'm not able to work but I can still dream. I'm almost 68 and so wish I could grow a garden again and have chickens. I have 2 little dogs inside and a whole bunch of feral cats outside that I take care of. God bless y'all for what you do.

  2. When I was a kid we got six Rhode Island reds and named them Hens 1:6, because we thought that would be hilarious. We thought we'd never be able to tell them apart, but Hen 2, very affectionate and top of the pecking order, became the most wonderful pet. Some of the others were difficult to tell apart so we'd just all random numbers between 1 and 6 except 2.

  3. I enjoy watering as well… but, after I got a drip system, whoa nelly! Stuff grew better. Especially in hot summer months. But those underground systems are hard to work with in this kind of gardening… great for fixed landscapes… a couple days ago, I came across this: I’m definitely going to try one… affordable too… I am not an affiliate or anything… y’all might be able to make one yourself. It’s the garden grid… might be handy for some of your beds. https://gardeninminutes.com/category/garden-grids

  4. I love watering the garden first thing in the morning because it gets my mind ready for the day! Schedule has been crazy due to corona and havent been getting up early enough yo do it but i sure did love it

  5. You are just amazing. I love watching your beautiful garden. You just inspire. I feel so sad right now but I'm thinking about occupying my time to build a garden. You are such an inspiration

  6. I just had a broody hen for the first time, and I didn't want chicks right now because it's going into winter. I really didn't know what to do. I watched some you tube videos, like you do. Everyone said to put them in a cage like a dog cage for air flow. I was wondering if it is necessary to get them to stop being broody when you don't have any fertilized eggs for them to hatch, or if you can just leave them alone and they will come out of it on their own? What do y'all do, and what is best for the chickens? Thank you so very much for your videos❣ I love the perspective you give, and I love your devotionals, your dreaming, and your love for life. I am a couple of years older than you, but I look up to you. I have really been inspired by you and Miah to follow my dreams, and to find joy in the small things. For everything you give of yourself and your family I thank you from the bottom of my heart. May God bless you all and show you his favor forever and ever in Jesus's name amen❣❣❣❣❣❣❣

  7. Tobi's maturity for his age is astounding. Such care and patience with his brothers and Gabe. I still think of his desire (voiced in 2021) to be a husband and father and pray for him often!!!
