  1. As a maintenance worker and enough plumbing experience. That's not a very good place for any kind of tree. Wait till those roots grow underneath the house and plumbing.

  2. Hey, I recently just bought a apple baby tree. I was wondering since you were talking about how you recommend to have two apple trees in the area, does it have to be a apple tree? Because I also just recently bought these other two fruit trees. Will it be enough?

  3. Luke, thanks so much for the great content. I just started following your channel as the information you provide is fantastic. I’m in Oxford on the lake and was curious if I need to be sure to protect my honey crisp sapling from deer? I know you said it’s ok to deflower for the first year, will deer do damage to the tree once planted?

  4. What are your opinions on "Twist" trees where they "twist" 2 different apple trees around each other as they grow?

Also the "fruit coctail" where they graft 3 different kinds of apple tree to the same base & stalk.

I impulse bought one of each but I still want to hear your opinion.

    Thank you!

  5. I'm from Michigan and I have a lot of clay in my soil. I also know a lot of orchards do too. What is your recommendation for making sure the soil drains enough? I have a high spot in my yard I plan on putting some apple trees but was concerned about drainage. Could I dig down a few extra get and put down some beach sand or even just top soil? Should I try and run some drainage in the ground a few feet from the base of the trees?

  6. How come all the apple tree on you tube don't tell you how to prune a little apple tree plant still in the pot 6 months old still in the flower pot indoors? The plants is growing tall but the plants are skinny. I have been using a fan. They are little gala apple trees

  7. WOW… as a parent, we can learn so much on how to raise children after watching this video…. @6:00 if you wrap your apple tree in cotton wool for its infancy you wont allow it to grow strong enough deep roots for it to develop properly. There's a great analogy there

  8. I believe most apple are good for the zones mentioned. However, some cultivars can not be grown in zone 4.. if I remember correctly pink lady is one.. Its important to know the grow zone based upon variety and also the flowering group.. I’m sure Luke knows this.. covering all content, without skipping something is wow.. nearly impossible. Though, this is why he has more than one video on apple trees ..
Migardener is my favorite YouTube channel and also my favorite place to shop for seeds..
