rent a tiller for the tractor
Ok so this is a cool idea in theory (SHTF Farm)…. but it means nothing in the real world. If things really get bad enough and you are a registered "farm" thats producing, the Fed Gov will step in and claim it. Its that simple. We really dont own anthing anymore…if you pay taxes on "property" then you RENT the property off the gov. If they want it, because it produces somwthing needed for "the greater good" they will simply take it by force. There are laws written…and passed when we sleep at night….that give the fed the ability to take anything they need. If they need food…and you have it….you will have armed men show up. Could be they will let you still work it…but they are taking the bounty…you might be allowed to keep enough for your family. Why would you bust your butt for someone else to just take it?
Again, in theory its cool…in reality it is something that will be taken from you in bad SHTF scenerios..

Hey curtis , have you considered using well water before ? Vrs city water or rainwater collection ? What are your thoughts on the quality of rain/ well city water I know you are going for low cost on that particular farm atm ,i haven't been able to use rain water but want to , farms looking great so far !

I do my beds to fit the land parcel I have. It happens to be East West. My garden is not commercial. I plant all the short plants in rows on the south side and the tall plants on the north side. My neighbor brought his traktor over and tilled the lot for me for a bottle of good wine 🙂

I am looking forward to watching this develop. Thank you for creating it on YouTube. I farm 30 hectares of mixed bananas and sugarcane. I play around with vegetables on a small-scale (some stuff on my Channel) and I have followed your content (along with others) in my own process. I hope you have some ecosystem service plantings included in the holistic farm. It is amazing to see the sorts of things, on a 60-year-old banana and cane farm that have established between the plantings and in waterways. Whole forests have grown when comparing aerial photographic records.
Why are you not using a bigger tractor for tilling etc.?
Is all abauth energii ,alsow all ancient piramid all araund the world ar oriented to N pol!!!! But ya the bad and home shood be oriented to the E wher the sune rise!!! This is old information and is still crosing as !!! I belive onliy in this direction wee can make a helty conection with earth and sune reseving blesing.

I think you're getting to the point where a tractor would be more economical to work the field than a tiller.

Old English Major here – it's not "orientate." It's "orient." We orient, we do not orientate. I know it's a nit for a lot of people, but for those of us who grew up with strict teachers and parents who insisted on correct English, this is a thing.
I know this has nothing to do with this video and perhaps you have covered this in other videos but can you please explain business licenses for farming and your experiences with them. I understand they will be different for everyone in different areas and lifestyles but I'd like to know your experiences. Thank you.

Your channel is amazing, I have bees, chickens, and a 30×30 garden in my backyard.
You need a tractor with a plow, disc and tiller, because tilling doesn't get any easier. LOL. I've done it both ways. You could probably get a farmer to come plow & disc or just till your new ground, then use your tiller right before planting.
