  1. I have a compost tumbler that holds the juices of the compost on the bottom. I can then take that liquid and pour on my plants. Question: Is that too strong for the plants — should I let it sit for a long period of time before I just pour it on my soil beds? Thanks.

  2. I think soil everywhere is not ready. So much was sold that there hasn't been a one for it to break down. I have bought every type and brand the past year in the bags and they were all woody with very little soil. Even potting mixed that are usually more fluffy. The soil company for big load delivery is the same.

  3. Just ordered my second Green Stalk! I think this will be get for my mom to get her active and outside! Set it up in a safe place where she can set or stand safely!!

  4. This was great! Thank you for demystifying the soil amendment you do and don’t do. I don’t put all the fancy chemicals on my beds… I’ve just been adding compost and now bunny poo this month. I wondered if I was missing something but I loath the idea of paying for fertilizers because I’m a hard core DIYer and want to believe that God put everything my garden needs within easy reach. I’ve had moderate success the last two years with a new hugelkulture raised bed set up. Hopefully this year it gets better as it had aged.

  5. Now your talking my language!!
Soil science, worm castings, compost tea!!! I've got you covered my father and I have been working years on the development of our worm castings, compost and aeration system!!
