We always went by the rule to not plant in the ground until after Master’s week. Now that you’ve moved close to Augusta, Georgia, you’ll know what that means.
Hey Jess, look up leadfarmer73 on YouTube . He lives in Columbia SC and grows citrus. He has a great YouTube channel!
My favorite fruit is a plumcot .
I’m wondering why you’re doing these huge raised beds when you already have a foot of amazing soil in the ground down there ?
If you’re planting your tomatoes in a high tunnel every year, do you still rotate your crops? Or do you just amend the soil and plant tomatoes in the same spot?
I am loving the fact that you were showing how you're putting this together because I am intending on buying some land very soon and starting my own we have not yet decided where we're going to live but we're still looking but what I wanted to say was YouTube represent a marriage and a family on YouTube that you can't get anywhere else remember that you're not just growing plants you're actually inspiring people and you're not only opening these people's minds but you're also opening their hearts to God whether you realize it or not which I know that you don't mention got a lot on this channel because of YouTube but you have inspired so many people in the world remember no matter what you're doing we're enjoying it thank you so much for sharing your lives with us and showing us a better way of doing things because without you and Justin Rhodes and the rest of the people that are with the homesteaders Community with alongside of some of the permaculture Farmers I feel that you're inspiring people and a nation without even realizing it I don't see I don't think that you realize the impact you have on other people's lives by just showing us how good and kind you are to other people and the way you do things y'all show each other love and a compassion to everyone you need that most people don't get to see with other people it's a very rare quality thank you for blessing everyone with your lives and coming and bringing it into ours thank you so much
You should call brother Noah “BRONO”!!
On another channel that I watch, they asked subscribers to send in pics of their greenhouses and got so many that they may do 2 episodes of them. A great way to get ideas!
Went back and watched some of your older videos, do you still have newt the rabbit? I Love your new property
Happy Valentine's everyone, yep a day late wacthing. But I'm here wacthing while waiting on a doe in labor. Yep she is wanting Valentine's babies. Pure bred Alpine's. Wonderful video, Thank you for sharing. God Bless till next time.
I completely get building on the fly. Same here.
Put a Thai food garden in the high tunnel, Kaffir lime tree and lemon grass etc!!! Am I Right!!! TY Jess and Sweet Miah! Place looks great!
It would be cool to get stuff for composting from many people. Have you thought about worm composting on a large scale?
I’m so excited to see the gardening content!!!
I can't remember if you ever disclosed before if the Elephant Ears next to the old window greenhouse did actually keep it cooler in the summer as intended.
Just FYI, you probably know, but some mosses are nearly impossible to get rid of after they establish. My old neighborhood had a big problem with trying to grow anything after the moss took over. I’m guessing your using some kind of special moss lol! Anyway, just in case.
You both are so stinkin adorable. I love how you guys laugh together & work together. And the shaking hands for job well done in the previous videos is so hilarious.
I'm so excited to watch your progress on your farm. You guys are such an encouragement to me. BTW!!! I am painting my T-post's this year like you did in your last garden.
I would love to be near you. I find your happiness contagious! I always feel so excited every time I watch you. It is awesome that you can get help and Miah is such a partner for the farm.
I'm a 69 yr. old woman with a 10.44 acre farm in west central Indiana that I purchased 12 years. I'm finding that getting help for the farm is becoming really difficult. It seems that this area doesn't have many homesteaders. My daughter is so sweet, when she tells me that she really wishes that she liked the farm. I know she means it lovingly. I fear I am seeing my dreams fade much earlier that I had hoped for. Thank you, so much for providing such wonderful videos for all who love you and your family. Blessings.
Hey what kind of moss are you going to use with your flat stones
I agree 110% to tea parties in the green house. You could even host the fancy dinner parties in there!
We had a mid April frost last year. For that reason I’m starting a little later this year.
Dear Jess, I have a retired doctor friend who has help a lot of people with migraines. He has found 90% of them are caused by a food allergy. Specifically, corn and all its various forms. You might have to become a religious label reader like me. Love your site. Thanks so much. Hope this helps you. Patty
I'm totally down for a tea-party!
