We love cooking and grilling with our cowboy grill! I love it! It is also proving to be effective with all the canning we have going on! A great asset to those who wish to cook and can off grid!
Enjoy & thanks for watching! xo

Oh no you didn't, that was such a tease…love me some nanner puddin!!
Oh, that poor sweet pig! Very smart to have that canner Outside!! ๐
great canning outside!
IT WAS 95 AND HUMID HERE IN MASSACHUSETTS TODAY. A NEIGHBOR STARTED TO COMPLAIN. Iย SAID, POLITELY, "SIR, YA DONE COMPLAINED ABOUT THE COLD LAST WINTER. YA AINT GOT TO SHOVEL THIS; AND, YOU'RE SAVING $300 A MONTH ON HEAT." HE ACTUALLY SCOLDED ME FOR BEING RUDE. MADE ME WISH I'D STAYED DOWN IN THE GEORGIA SWAMPS. WELL, EVERYTHING HERE MAKES ME WISH THAT. TOOย HOT, ALWAYS BETTER'N TOO COLD.
Baby girl ya face is super red stay hydrated keep ya a cool wet rag on ya
Canning time! Ya! Love the out doors cowboy grill. That's the way to go. All is crazy good. Take heed this heat my dear. Keep well hydrated. Know that when you take a drink it takes 1 hour before that liquid reaches the cells in your body. If you are experiencing thrist than you are already dehydrated. So drink up. ๐ God bless and take care.
great video to beat the heat and all can. lol yum banana pudding. have you done a video on pressure canning in the grill? or how do you think I could be done?
Good to know! ( out side )
Our tomatoes have not come in yet, just a few ripe ones here and there. Think we are much higher in the mountains near the Blue Ridge Parkway than you are. But I will be in your shoes in a few weeks canning tomatoes right and left. Just finished with the cherries and blueberries and peaches may hit same time as the tomatoes.. Ah well you know the routine.
my mom used to Kim outside in the summertime it was way too hot brings back memories thank you
Do you add any seasoning to your puree or do you wait until you open to add seasoning as you prepare meals? Thanks
Love seeing your daily activities ๐
I want that tablecloth! Love that your family gets together and works together ! God bless you all!
Hi Patera sorry if I misspelled your name. My husband and I also live in TN, but are definitely living the city life. He and I both are more used to a bit more of a rural setting. We are expecting our first baby (girl) November 1. We want her to live in a more rural setting, but can't move right now for several reasons. For the time being, we're trying to make the best of where we are and what we have. My question for you is: If I have a 15'x3' garden area and want to grow – tomatoes, green beans, peas, squash, zucchini, sweet potatoes, carrots and broccoli (mostly for baby, but some for us too). How many of each plant should I do and would I even have enough room for all of these things in such a small space?
Have a old gas stove that we hooked up to propane. Using it to can outside in the high heat.
Love the cowboy grill and all the things you can use it for. Thanks for the video. First time viewer, new daily follow.
We do enjoy your videos, it has been so hot I don't blame you for canning outside. We canned (with 2 other couples) 120 lbs of chicken and did that outside. Great fellowship and memories made with friends. We do all big projects together, more hands make less work, lol.
I do not understand how to can without being under pressure in a canner?
Love this. Thanks for posting.
My backyard garden didn't do well thus year so I didn't get to can. I can't wait until I have a garden like yours
I'd love a tour of the grill type video- where you show us the parts of your cowboy grill and walk us through how you built it.
Banana. pudding the bomb
Finally had the chance to watch the video, thank you! I've subscribed and looking forward to watching more!
My cowboy grill still in the box. I plan to use it someday, just not ready yet.ย People need to learn and pay more attention to the elevation levels, that don't seem to know just how important it is. Thanks for saying it.
I just loved this video! I was able to get some of my questions answered about canning. I'm definitely going to pick up the Ball Blue Book Guide to Preserving that you mentioned in another video.
Banana pudding looked yummy! Enjoyed vid.
Would you mind showing a close up of the grill thing you guys did with the castle blocks? I really really like that and would like to make one to!! ๐ I have several on hand already to get it going. Wondering how many it took to make it? LOVE your channel to!! Shooooo you had me even sweating there! lol I live in the DEEP SOUTH pretty close to Danny and Wanda and the humidity here when it's hot is unbearable! ๐
EDITED: I just found your vid on it. 33 fire grade block do dads. ๐
Can you can chicken ect without the pressure canner? I want to learn to can completely off grid
