Whether it is your crops, your herd, your flock… trust your instincts. Every situation every day is totally different. It will be up to you and your ability to adapt and to even intervene that will determine the success of the situation. Things do not always turn out like you expect or as you have seen shown by others. Be ready to be tested and be ready to listen to your gut instincts. They will be tested on your homestead! Enjoy & thanks for watching! xo

Our instinct is the best warning we have. It is not in the least crazy. I have listened to mine many times. Great video with great advice. God bless and take care.

Awesome vid. Thanks
love all of your vids&info&tips. And I don't even have a farm or land!! haha just 2 tomato plants. thank you☆studying for the ..hopefully near future.
Here in qld Australia, we discourage broody hens in deep summer as the heat and humidity is just too much for her. Hopefully you're able to reintroduce them. love those dark eggs.
You can't go wrong listening to God. We don't have to know why, we just have to know that it is the right thing to do at the time. You done good kiddo. Thanks for sharing, they are still adorable. Look forward to progress reports.
Looks like you got your "hands full". Looking good with the clear shades by the way.
I appreciate so much that you go with your instincts and share things with us as they come up. Sometimes we don't even have to know why we were moved to do something, the feeling of "rightness" stays with you. I feel like you have a calm center that your animals certainly respond to. I was reminded recently of the difference between responding (with positive action) as opposed tp reacting (with panic and dismay). You are the model for this in action, and I hope to emulate that vibe, with practice, of course. Thank you!
Very sound advice 🙂
99% of the time when your gut says to do it, you better do it.
I just love mamma's and their babies. Thanks for sharing this.
A great video to wake up to. Thanks! (Can't get my sound to work but enjoyed the video anyway).
What a lovely story. Thank you for sharing this, it's a wonderful example of listening to your gut. Blessings and Hugs from Texas
Not a religious person, myself, but I do completely agree that the power of our instincts is extremely important. Found a clutch of wild ducklings in my backyard two days ago after seeing a mama duck hopping around on a fence and thinking "that's not right, ducks don't do that, something is wrong". She was attempting to get her babies to the river but it turns out she'd been spotted by a crow and had hid them, but she'd put the ducklings in a spot that they couldn't get themselves out of. We took the babies and gently coaxed the mama along with our bucket full of fluff down to the waters edge. She was very pleased to get the babies back safely 🙂 If I hadn't trusted my initial instinct, I'm certain that family would have had a sad end to their story.
very nice Patara, thanks for taking the time to share!
If you ask God for a solution or direction, he'll give it to you!
What a delightful video! Thank you!
Listen to your instincts and listen for God's word and guidance. Beautiful babies.
Did I see 6 babies at the very end?
Great video! I don't own chickens & will never own chickens but this video is so interesting learning about chickens, you explain things so well!
Her to in panagonia
Discernment is a gift and I pray for that and wisdom daily.
She might have been panicking because maybe she could hear the chick chirping in the egg and she was looking for the source of the chirping.
I'm a city dweller and I enjoy your vids. I glean a lot from them. I do can and put away food. Thanks for all you do and the time you take to do this
Thank you for this impromptu lesson, Patara. I learn so much from you. I've been a little anxious about getting our first chicks next week (!). But … I ask God all the time what to do with our homestead (actually His homestead, We are His caretakers); thank you for the reminder I can ask Him about the chicks, too. Thank you!
I learn so much from your videos. Thank you for sharing your experiences.
Thank you for this video. I've prayed about starting my homestead
This is brilliant, and true. The times I didn't listen to my instincts, bad things happened.
oh my gosh
