VIDEO: The #1 Reason People Fail at Gardening

This is the biggest problem facing not only gardeners, but also our society. Our ability to use deductive reasoning is the biggest reason we fail at doing anything and why our level of dependancy is at an all time high.

  1. For anyone hating me for my stance, you have to answer my question in as few words as possible.
My plant is dying, Help me. What am I doing wrong?

Put yourself in my shoes and then re-watch the video and realize I didn't say anything earth shattering. Then imagine getting close to 25 of those messages per week on top of 500+ messages per week that I answer. If you still have an issue, start your own channel. I will gladly send them to you. 😉

  2. You wanted to be popular. Be careful what you wish for. Why are they even able to message you? You have to keep your private life private. Your a very nice man. Maybe too nice. The situation with them taking all your beets is a good example. You mean well but you’ll have to be less available.

  3. Many people today no longer seem to be able to think and reason or use critical thinking skills and I'm not sure what the reason for the ignorance is. It applies to all areas of society and life, not just gardening.

  4. This is my first year gardening. I planted everything in containers and have some success and some failures. With the failures I've learned not to do this again. Watching all the videos I've watched has increased my knowledge 100%.There is so much information that tells us all what symptoms we are looking at and experiment with how to fix them. Have fun with the learning and the journey. The plants seem to tell you what to do.

  5. Im stopping at 4:15 of this video. I am typing at 4:05 am. I don't expect a response. This is when I watch your videos because of my life schedule. I don't expect any response.

  6. Ouch, I'm stopping this video at 5,:29 and won't watch further. As a communications professional and editorial professional for 30 years, I'll be happy to give you some tips on marketing and personal communications
At this point I can only say that the first 5 minutes of this video is obnoxious.

  7. Honey…just turn your notifications off. Choose a time that's good for YOU to look through your messages. Ignore the dumb questions. No need to put out a video out on the matter.

  8. If people are watching your videos from all over the world, you are going to get questions at all hours of the day and night from their time zones. They may not know what time zone you are in. It may not be the middle of the night where they are. Just sayin’.

  9. I enjoy your channel. I try different things every year. I have two plots at a community garden. People think I have a a green thumb. I say yes and no. It's just a big experiment and I have fun.

  10. Oh no, Luke offended 400 snowflakes. As for me, I want to thank you for everything you've taught me in the last year. The number one thing I've learned as a beginner is that the more time I spend in the garden actually working and thinking, the more success I have and the more I learn from my mistakes. I agree with you 100% that there are way too many lazy brained, entitled slugs out there, especially on social media.
