I used garlic oil water(drop or plant based dish soap) mix & Epsom salt mixer but they are still there
Oh & I like the variety of methods you provide because not all will be preferred

Aphids are indicators of too much nitrogen. Perhaps reducing the frequency of fertilizing, or choose a lower N value fertilizer.
Sunflowers are there favourites.
Hmm aphids actually clone themselves with wings to move to different plants, so they don't need the ants to get to the leaves, mostly to protect them from predators.
So yeah controlling ants helps, but by making them more vulnerable.
Also, avoid water on leaves in strong sun, they'll likely burn. Same with oils or phytopharmaceuticals (they often contain oils).
A cheap "remedy" i often use is buying a pack of rolling tobacco and soak some of it ,then use the nicotine infused water as a repellant.
Cold pressed neem oil hasn’t been working for me. I used 2 Tsp neem oil, 1 Tsp dish soap. Trying garlic spray now.
Nice one video. I learned a lot. I wondered if my ants were eating the aphids or if they were just buds. Now I know they are buds. And the thing about their mouths being ripped off was great.
I use the sugar borax on cotton balls in a container with holes. I keep bees and must protect my bees from the ant killer. The bees will get into it too.
I’ve always said that the ants herd the aphids. It’s pretty much what they do
Best I've found is a mixture of
1. Tomatoe leaves x 10. New growth is best
2. chillis
3. 1 ltr water
4. 3 x drops oil
5. 2 drops dish detergent.
Blend up chilli's and tomatoe leaves in water. Bring mixture up to just before simmer and turn off heat.
Allow to perculate for 15min.
Strain.
Add oil and detergent.
Pour into a spray bottle and shake.
Apply to infected areas on plant.
Make sure 100% coverage.
DO NOT BREATHE IN OR WILL IRRITATION TO LUNGS/EYES ECT. It is chilli so can irritate your skin as well.
I also add a little fish implosion or liquid natural fertiliser to spray as well.
You add oil as a sticking agent, so best not to apply during heat of day otherwise it will magnify sun's UV and can burn plants. Otherwise remove oil and detergent and apply at any time. Though remember rain will wash off.
This mixture burns the soft bodies of all applied.. They stop eating and die. So works for all insects

Thank you for explaining the aphids need the ants to carry them up the plants! This helps a great deal.
I have tried all of these and nothing gets rid of them altogether.

I read in a gardening book a mixture of 1 tsp. garlic infused water and 1 tsp. dish soap in a spray bottle filled with water. I love neem oil, but it wasn't strong enough.
