  1. I grew up with farmers and understand the pain they are experiencing. What I am concerned about is the acres in the set aside program that farmers want to farm and the federal government won't let them. Is the government deliberately trying to make a bigger crisis at the peoples expense? Also, why is the Federal government tapping into your national reserve and sending the fuel(especially diesel) overseas? Shouldn't their first concern be to get our farmers and our economy back on its feet before we add other nations? Just a thought.

  2. Just an FYI peeps…I live in Illinois in an area that produces lots of corn for feed. None of the fields around me are being turned over or seeded. Not one farmer in my area is currently planting corn because they can't get the fertilizer delivered or seed at a good price. What does this mean? Think about it….no corn…means no feed…means no animals being fed on a budget. Nobody talks about it here, but we can see what's happening. It may not be this year, but the trickle-down of lack of these things will show up soon.

  3. We were paying $155 per 700-800 pound round bale last year for local hay in Alaska. I’m dreading how much I’m going to have to pay this year. We aren’t making cuts yet but we aren’t adding to the homestead they way we had planned.

  4. Here in Alberta Canada our round bales for last year's hay are $200 plus. Our diesel is $1.88/liter so almost $8/gallon. We have had very little rain this spring. Hoping I can produce enough food for my animals this year or I may have to look at downsizing

  5. A heads up from southern Ohio. A rural king employee says dog food factories are running at 18% . And also that rural king is having extreme difficulty time getting in trucks.

  6. We’ve had such a horrible gardening season in MO and now we are expected to have a historic heat wave this summer?!!! I’ll grow whatever will grow and start a Fall garden in August as well.

  7. Potatoes are so easy to grow I've been growing in buckets for several years and even since moving to our homestead I plant in ground and in buckets still bx it works.

  8. Patara, we’re in Dandridge and are overgrown in K31, orchard grass, clover, etc. If you know someone to cut and bail it we’ll give it to you for free. I think we’re around 15 acres of harvestable grass, depends upon how steep a grade you can handle. Unfortunately, we’re a bit behind and still building infrastructure for the animals but if we can help out this year, you can have it.

  9. The liberal political agenda that has been put into place will stand before God’s judgement seat to receive their due for allowing power mongering to create the suffering. Even though it’s a part of the end time events, each person will give an account for their actions.
