Who doesn’t like a fun and fizzy bath bomb? And when they are as simple to make as this, the whole family gets them for Christmas presents. This recipe really is simple enough that even a toddler could make it.
The hardest part is finding the citric acid, but in my town it is very common in bulk food stores, especially this time of year when everyone is creating fun things for the holidays. You can also find it on Amazon.
The recipe is simple:
2 parts baking soda
1 part epsom salts (optional, and can also use pickling salt)
1 part citric acid
From there add any colour or scent that you wish. In this video we use food coloring and rose wood essential oil, but get creative, and even use what you have around the house.
After trying this once, you’ll never pay the price for store bought ones again, because they are so fun and simple (and cheap) to make yourself.
