Hi
I want to grow mushroom in Dubai.. the temperatue here is 36 .. and I want to grow in sun… Becaz 2 reasons :
1.I don't have plance
2. I want to have observation can mushrooms grow in sun..
My neighbors don't care what I gow.
Great video. I have been struggling with my greens. Especially the lettuce. Total fail this year. But you have shown me so many ways I can improve. Next time will be better.
Love the spacing tip depending whether it’s spring or fall
How much is your water bill . And how do I offset the cost
Miners lettuce is also know as Winter Purslane, it generally grows in Spring not Winter, mine is growing now and I can make a salad with it, but it's also starting to flower. So it really is a misnoma to call it winter lettuce.
This was so helpful! I had no idea how "lightly " to plant lettuce seeds. Package & others say 1/4in… tried & didn't work. I did get a few sprouts(very few) but didn't last long, maybe to much water as you mentioned! Going to try again! 🙂 TY
Glory to Ukraine
it is 95 degrees in south Florida. Powdery mildew will attack any plant in June. Now we grow melons and okra if you can eat that crap
Hi, James where do you get your seeds from. Thanks for your chanel, love Tuck.
James how about just topping the seeds with vermiculite by itself instead?
Always very enjoyable to see you . Your energy is contagious thank you for all your videos.
How old is Tuck? He's a handsome boy!
James, SUPER GREAT ideas for planting lettuce!! THANKS!
Puppers is a good help . lol! Is he a Cairn Terrier?
Thanks for the info!
Awesome tips! I went with buying transplants for my lettuce this year, being my first gardening year. I did a lot of sowing myself but not lettuce! Maybe next year. Great content for me to save!
Great video James
Great Video!. I have never had much luck with transplanting. So I just throw the seeds in and and they always seem to come up on their own 90% of the time.
we had only one day over the winter with a temp in the low 30s. then in Feb we had a few unexpectedly hot days that burned up my lettuce. now all of them have bolted. I'm in NorCal
How lovely. I have so much miner's lettuce, I cannot eat it all. No Scurvy with this plant in your diet. Horseradish leaves is another of my main salad plants. Sorrel ( garden & Sheep) are also great in salads, and medicinal. Arugula, and parsley are also great in salads. I do not depend solely on just lettuce. If I have it, great, if there is no lettuce growing, no biggie. No green house for me, because raised beds, covered, are all that is required for overwintering most plants on south Vancouver Island, BC. My salads are Herbal salads, mostly.
Where do you get the Claytonia? I have had the hardest time finding seeds..
