  1. Perfect timing. I planted Scarlett runner beans and only half came up. I will do this for the replants and the other beans & sunflowers I am getting ready to plant.

  2. I will remember to do that next time. I soaked my seeds (larger ones like beans) in water for about 15 minutes while I was preparing the soil.

  3. Cutting, scoring etc.

I grew some Cana lilies from seed this year.

Took me 5 minutes with sandpaper to get through the rock hard seed coat.

  4. I hold them in my mouth before planting. The seeds soak in the DNA from your saliva and then produce t nutrients your body is needing. (Reference Anastasia Ringing Cedars of Russia)

  5. what about with something like an Umbel family like dill where it’s technically a fruit not a seed?

I have so much trouble trying to grow dill. I only got one plant to come up. I then started some indoors and put outside and they suddenly died, I think because of them drying out despite me watering everyday. The same happened to my lovage, which is also Umbel family. Parsley and cilantro I had no issues.
