If you let them dry out a bit longer after you peel them, the seeds come out way easier. It is REALLY disconcerting to have a seed come out of a luffa when you're in the shower without your glasses on. Just saying.
Awww, this is what happens when we buy overripe loofah. They are inedible, might give us a massive stomach ache later. It's amazing because it grows well back here in the PH, but my garden is a bit too small, and if I let grow vertically, it will get to the neighbors' electrical line lol.
Fun thing to grow. If you decide you want to give it a ‘finished’ look you can soak it in bleach and it will whiten it… I personally like the golden tan look myself. They also can run through a regilar washing machine but I do recommend getting all the seeds out prior. Thanks for the quick look.
So cool, I’m definitely growing this next year
Oh…. im looking….
It’s like a plastic banana
Can you squish it or does that destroy it

This is so cool! Can you use this to exfoliate like a regular loofah ?

What climate/ growing zone are you doing this?
Epic Gourdening
Its also a vegetable if anybody didnt know that.
Is that how they make flesh-lights?
Do you have to worry about it cross pollinating with other gourds if you want to save seeds? Like could i get a birdhouse loofah gourd?
What's a loofah?
What’s with the garbage music?
Wow!!!
You should do a video on loofah recipes, for when you pick them early when they're still edible.
It is satisfying, but try peeling about 200 of them and many are green. Fun
Ever since I learned loofa is a plant I've been determined to grow my own biodegradable exfoliation
We grew a couple of these in northern Idaho last year. They didn’t get very big due to the short growing season but it was still pretty cool
You ever mess with mushrooms? Kind of fun
Hahaha
That was you opportunity to use “oh my gourd!”
forbidden banana
I have been dreaming of growing loofah for years. They seem like work with the soaking, but having a supply of loofah would be amazing.
