10 years ago I started planting fruit trees and other fruiting perennials in my backyard garden. The goal at the time was to create a food forest garden that would be a mixture of both annual fruits and vegetables, and perennial fruits and vegetables. A permaculture garden is one that seeks to not only provide a good yield, but also aims to mimic nature and apply the patterns and examples from nature into the design of the garden. Gardening with permaculture principles in mind will ultimately lead to a bigger more sustainable yield for the current year, and years to come.

How time can make a difference, anyway i see a child if they had best candy!
Thank you James! God bless!
Great job of the Organic food forest James, I’m inspired every time I watch.
Looking forward to seeing that Prigioni White Wine!!!
I’m jealous…..my cucumbers never grow like yours. In California it’s just too dry☹️
Love when you eat your harvest. Makes it feel more real.
You and Tucker make me happy. I wish i live in your neighborhood.
I Love your encouragement and excitement! I bought 2 apple trees on sale at Walmart $7.44 each. They are struggling, I think they are going to make it. Kiss Tuck for me.
Your garden is growing squirrels!!! Awesome lol
Your garden is huge by Australian standards. Older homes used to have a 1/4 acre but most of those are being sold and subdivided to cram as many houses on them as possible which is really sad. Always makes me laugh when many urban gardeners in US consider their gardens as ‘small’.
Lol Tuck doesn’t ‘feel like hiring a cat for an employee’. Probably because cats think they’re the boss.
Amazing
I’ll order a peach tree if you recommend a website to order from
Hi James it's Anthony from South Africa Western Cape your garden looks so good. Do yo have a video starting a vegetable garden from scratch. I am looking for ideas.
Anyone know how large his garden area is?
Who is Tuck?
never stop growing sir, and i look forward to your 20 year update. I too have a fruit jungle which i started 10 years ago. I grew with you! It's awesome isn't it. Thanks for inspiring us all.
I really appreciate this. I'm starting again after being sick for four years, and although it's a tiny patch now, I'll be adding on every year until all 1/3 acre is covered with food. Thank you!
James. Sour cherries.
Do you want to die and go to heaven?
Fluffy sourdough pancakes, topped with sour cream and warm sour cherries.
(bring 1/2 cup sour cherry juice, tbsp sugar and tsp cornstarch to a boil to thicken, remove from heat, stir in a cup of sour cherries, put on a lid and let them sit while you make the pancakes.)
An old Russian way to eat pancakes.
See you in heaven!
Do you have a Fruit Stand????
I would like to see your house though
I'm a big dog guy but I gotta admit, Tuck is about the coolest little pooch I've ever seen. Oh and your gardening tips are pretty great too.
How would you convert a garden with only tiles back into a growble garden? Would you remove all the sand underneath the tiles, or could i just put contractor paper on top of it and then compost and wood chips?
Perhaps Tuck may accept a baby cat.
Food shortage is a myth. There’s only bad soil management.
I’ve currently got 3 apples, 3 raspberries, 3 blueberries, strawberries, a fig tree and 2 peppers. Starting my first garlic patch this fall.
You are true inspiration to all of us..
It so incredible how much you have achieved in ten years, I loved watching this video tour, I think you had a nice breakfast as you made the video, I assume you are able to sell your produce , it’s so abundant , I love how Tuck is quality control testing the cucumbers, you are an amazing team thanks for sharing .
You know something… I think James likes apples.
Congrats!!
