Misshapen apples are never a beautiful sight. Many gardeners get frustrated by them since they are not pretty, often pitted, and sometimes even have bug holes in them. In today’s episode, we are covering what you can do about it and what causes it in the first place.

Any help for apple maggot?
Gnarly infested apples make great hard cider if you're into that thing.
Mummified fruit should never be left on the tree over winter…it is a fungus and will kill the branch tip and spread throughout.
Perfect timing and very helpful. It was thorough and clear. I just bought some fruit trees and am now buying supplies for next year. Hopefully you have videos for peaches and plums.
Great video. I'm going to share this with my brother in law because he has several fruit/apple trees.
The soap is just castile soap? Do you have instructions on how to mix/use it for insect spray?
I'd turn those apples into vinegar. Then I use the vinegar to clean, drink and kill weeds between my river rock pathway. I enjoy the content you bring. I'll definitely be spraying my apples on time next year. Will this help with pears as well??
Let's talk about apple maggots Luke!
Red cedar rust on my apple tree is the bane of my existence.
Hey my friend thanks for telling me this in the spring when I could have sprayed, oh well meat is so expensive now I'll take the protein!
Looks like a stink bug.
Great video, my gala and Fuji apple trees are very young so I am no where near fruiting stage yet. I heard about the kaolin clay for the plum curculio, have you ever used it?
Kaloital clay spray works.
Link isn't for Dr. Bronners, it's for a different brand. Does it matter?
I'm surprised you didn't call them out as stink bugs, which is definitely what you showed a picture of.
Wow ..crazy ,but thanks on that info …maybe show us pruning and when to prune fruit trees
Thanks for the video. Sounds like great info but I'm wondering, does all of this information work just as well on coddling moths? I have the same issues with my honey crisp apple tree but from coddling moths. Two years without any apples is just sad.
I use netting as sprays don't work.
Stinkbug?
I think you mentioned permethrin along with the other items?
I try to keep my garden as organic as possible, would using it or the other items you mention impact that negatively?
