Awesome! I just planted a new garlic and onion bed.
I just planted my garlic today. This is only my second year planting garlic. It went well enough I'm planting again, yay..
You guys gotta be hardcore if willing to continue to do video despite rain! Enjoyed listening to rain.
We got rain too (near you) and went out to garden in it too. We loved it
I was literally watching your videos today thinking about what to plant now here in Texas on my urban balcony garden, and was looking into garlic because I have never grown it before. Then you come out and drop this video a few hours later?! It’s fate!
Jacque, you should get a longer rod, like a standard shovel, and put a foot push at the 4” or 6” height so you can make those holes faster, with body weight, and while standing.
Why do you have the knee pad on the right knee but kneel on the left?
Babka is in good company. My kitty is my favorite garden towel.
You should do all your videos in the rain, this was so funny. Love the shared wisdom!
First attempt at growing garlic and I don’t have a lot of space… I went with a hard neck so I could get scapes, (zone 5b). So glad I chose Music after you mentioned it! Maybe you guys could have a tutorial on shallots next.
I got elephant garlic to grow for the first time this year. I love garlic!

Do you also need to vernalize elephant garlic? I am going to buy some from your store!
I purchased some garlic from you guys.
Thanks for the tips, hope all goes well with my crop this season.
Peaceful Valley is my hometown nursery and is awesome! Amigo Bob! Awesome video guys!
"Poppin' Cloves" sounds like it deserves some artwork and new merch. Your vibe just fills my soul. Thank you!
Totally new to growing garlic but I didn't notice if you mentioned weather or not you vernalized the soft necks at all? If so, how long should they sit in the fridge for?
They don't sell soft necked garlic here. When asked where to buy it from the guy at Peavey mart told me , I needed to move south! Lol
Yup. It's the same thing here. If plans to get garden work done are interrupted by rain, you just keep going. When you are done, change your clothes and have a hot tea!
You fellas don't rotate your plantings?
Orange county new grower here got one garlic and a bunch of peppers in some 5 gallon buckets tomato cucumber zucchini green onion white onion, im new so we’ll see what happens
