We are planting our fall garlic. Garlic should be planted 4-5 inches apart and they should be planted around 30-35 days until the first frost. Garlic are a fun and easy plant to grow and are very expensive in the store, so give them a try!

I live in Louisiana. We usually do not get snow but we have had 3 snows sessions of a few days each and we have had multiple frosts and my garlic leaves are looking burnt. Do I remove dying leaves or bent leaves like onions?
I'm like the little cloves…. I never get picked for anything
Fantastic video
Ok, I live in Fl, our winters have been very mild till Feb or so. After the freezer treatment, when should I plant them. TIA! Love your videos btw. Dianne
Who is that Your son or nephew
I'll be planting garlic for the first time this fall. Don't know why I never did before – looks so easy! Thanks for another great instructional video. 🙂
Cute baby
Thx for sharing…so when would be the best time to plant?in october or November plz?do you mulch it?thanks
She’s so cute!! You grow very cute babies!!
What a sweet baby! <3
What about planting garlic from seed? any guidance?
What a cute baby! Good to get her involved at a young age.do this every year with her and she will learn. She will grow up being a gardener! Of chorse she may be a little distracted durning her teen years with boys and all!
Then you will protect her durning her teen years!
I love your videos & have learned a lot from you, but when you said "unthaws", it just about killed me. If you really think about it, doesn't that just mean freeze? Thaw is what happens when you take something out of the freezer. (People in Vermont where I currently live say "unthaw" too, & it drives me nuts). On another note, Geneva is so cute & very communicative little nature lover in the making!
just got my order of garlic yesterday and just planted them got 29 cloves, and used some of the trifecta, excited to see how much God abundantly blesses them 🙂 God Bless and thank you
Ohio here! Glad I checked you out. I am planting garlic tomorrow. You are right, it is MY FIRST planting for 2020!
You say 4-5 inch spacing, but you plant it at 10. That's a total waste of space
Your baby so cute thanks for all your great tip
cute baby
Love your garden helper. Maybe we will see your wife garden helper on you knee sometime?
How adorable is she planting that garlic. 🙂
Is this just garlic from the grocery store because I’ve never seen it at my big box stores
So is the garlic supposed to sprout before the first frost?
Hi Luke got a question. If you have irrigation system that I have. I need to shut down during the winter. How do you keep it water. I lived in zone 7.
I planted garlic on October 18th and they are all popping up except for the elephant garlic. Is that ok?
Awesome info and your sidekick is awesome I have 3 boys always wanted a girl but getting to old for more lol but enjoy that beautiful baby
Using the cute factor, I love it!!! She's adorable
I planted hard neck and soft neck mid September this year. With the warmer fall weather, my soft garlic is sprouting now!! So after mulch when weather cools, will these soft necks survive winter since they are sprouting? If not, should I just replant after our first frost?
So cute, Daddy's little girl gardening with her Dad. ❤️
