Sick household with my 3 kids under 5
And both my parents.
My 3 year old son and I have been watching your videos for awhile and I figured today was the first time he and I can try one of your giant cooking recipes. 3 chickens in the roast and you’re right the house smells incredible ❤
Hey Becky, I am trying to find the recipe for those date balls that had chocolate in them and other things. I am sure it is on a video but I cannot find it. Sweet thoughts to you, Josh and baby Acre!!! Thank you
Hope you can help me. I have looked for the freezer bags you use but there are so many I'm not sure of the quality. Can you tell me the brand name of the ones you use. I plan on making a bunch of freezer meals before I have surgery. These would be wonderful for those meals. Thanks. Also, congrats on Baby A.
Absolutely love this girl. She reminds me of my extraness all the time. I love the thinking outside the box and all the home cooking…. Good job with it all and i wish you absolutely so much successes
Hi Becky. I so enjoy watching you do your thing in the kitchen. I'm pretty new to canning meats and I'm stymied as to how to use canned chicken and turkey. Can you share some ways you use the canned chicken and turkey?
I’m addicted to canning lol made beef stew and canned
You inspired me to buy my first electric canner and I’m going to try my hand at canning some things this winter. I think I will start with canning chicken and turkey. We have a ton of it in our freezer.
Hi! I fell upon your channel a bit ago and I just have to say how delightful you (and your family) are. I enjoy your videos so much that I find myself smiling while watching. Prayers, hugs and love to you, Josh and Baby A. Congratulations!
I enjoy watching your videos, but I am grossed out by you not rinsing off any one of the chickens or the turkey before you cooked it.
My cat was fascinated with your canning the broth! He was mesmerized by the way you were doing it.
Hi Becky! I love your seasoned salt! It was a game changer for me it tasted so great it made me want to cook from scratch more often and make my own seasoning blends. It seems silly that something as simple as that made such a difference in my kitchen. Anyway, thank you!
Why yall dnt wash ur meat????
Commenting
Question….does your canned turkey/chicken have the same texture and taste as does when not canned?
Becky, can you raw pack ,start like beans or chicken or potatoes from cool water cool jars?.. asking about the presto electric canner?????????
So, why didn't you take the gizzards, livers, etc., out of the chicken insides? I call that stuff dog food. It will leave a bitter and awful taste to the chicken and the broth when left within, in my opinion/experience. Likewise with the turkey innards.
I’m 60yo and from the Deep South…never…EVER have I seen “canned” chicken! It may be very good, but it looks horrible! Frankly, I’d be very afraid to eat it.
Love following you! You have the sweetest comment section!
Again I’m exhausted just watching you! Great job!
Wow. I love what you do. I heard of onion peels for yarn but not broth. I am sure all of us want to try everything you cook. Thank you for great memories and joys for the future.
Hey Becky I put you on my Facebook so other people can follow your shows I hope they enjoy it as much as I do and you have more followers
you can put garlic in the freezer, just peel it first
I just bought a different weight for my 23 quart presto canner that can be separated to use just the weight you need for your elevation. No watching the pressure gage, It was less than $20.00. I got it at the local Ace Hardware and asked for a 'Jiggler'. Well, the guys had not idea, but when they looked up accessories for Presto canner, they had it! I am looking forward to using it!
Where is the recipe for the homemade seasoning?
This is the first time I am watching your video on canning meat. I enjoyed your presentation and felt less intimated. Once I purchase all the basic tools for canning I will get started. Your best best.
