A reminder of childhood that popcorn cart is, where I grew up in Toronto Canada they had a bowl of coal with a metal shelf on top of it at one end where chestnuts were roasted. Only one family is left carrying this tradition on. Popcorn and chestnut cart in every park and on street corners, I miss that.

My favourite snack of all the sugar or sweet one or toffee lol and can probably make it.
Did have a machine that you put corn in to make it but that was 10+ years back probably not got it now. Will find a way lol.

Being a boomer, I'm always amazed at what people don't know. I heard a young person say they thought pickles grew that way, pickled.
