We are uploading some older footage from the Summer of 2017, including this video sharing our daily goat routine.
We have a herd of Nubian dairy goats on our small farm in central Arkansas. This was a normal day of goat care in June 2017. Since this video, we have made some changes and will be posting a new routine video when our does are in milk again.

Great vid- thanks for sharing, i found it very helpful. Love from Australia!
This was another great video! And Daniel's music at the end is really good. He is a talented artist!
Can you tell me why people milking goats do not put a loose rope around one of their back legs like they do when we milk cows.
This keeps them quite still & stops the cow from knocking over the pale. Love your videos. Cheers Denise Brisbane Aussie- denise@brady.solutions for your answer please.
Love how when you are straining the milk behind you on the counter is eggs from your own chickens and jam(?) that you made and canned yourself. Love it
Will you post about trimming their hooves? So amazing
Good work
I am learning because want to start goat forming
I want a female baby goat .I live in greenback tn . You know where I can get one . Thanks
Something to think about for those who feel that harsh products are needed to teat dip after milking: Who runs around dipping the does teats every time the kids nurse dozens of times a day? When they are young, I've seen one of my does let them nurse for about a minute or less, every 10 minutes. Should we stay outside all day and go dip her every time? (rhetorical question) A small homestead or small farm goat is not in the same kind of environment or being pushed to max production, (I hope) like a dense commercial CAFO style operation where they rely on conventional methods to prop up the health of stressed animals.
25 minutes in – The chicken eggs in the background how long can those stay out?
doing outstanding
It's so sweet that the bottle babies and the other kids mingle during bottle feeding time. Thank you
I absolutely love your channel and subscribed. But I surely wouldn't want bleach on my nipples prior to breastfeeding a child…and I wouldn't put it on my goats udders either. Simple Dr. Bronners soap and water will be just as effective and keep the udder nice and healthy ❤️
Seems like it would be easiest to start with babies so you wind up with very tame/easy milkers. I'm just learning as much as possible before I get goats
I have sooooo many questions!!
I'm a new goat owner and from watching your video I was going to ask a really dumb question. When you were talking about the feed mix I was thinking the alfalfa would take the place of hay, then Miah was putting out hay. Your videos are so much fun. Love your boys! We raise baby "chips" too!!!!!!
Great video! As a beginner these posts are wonderful. Thank you.
I used hot water with a dab of soap and bleach as well for cleaning their udders and a dry towel to dry them. It worked great for me.
Thank you for the information! Great job!
ohmygod awww a kid is trying to stick his face through the hole when you're milking haha
Seasonal care tip- cdt..? What is that please? You mentoned it after worming.
if your IQ is sub-120, don't get goats. They'll outwit you on a daily basis.
I’m so enjoying going back and watch your old videos.
We found if we mix some alfalfa in with he feed while milking it REALLY slows them down and keeps them busy. Also have optional ties downs for her feet if you want from trouble goats. It helps train them too.
Would you guys make an updated video exactly this? I love it and I know your new found knowledge will help many… to include me lol <3
Love watching a older rawer video of Jess, staring our goat journey.
Such great information! You have the spiritual gift of teaching, Jess. Thanks for sharing your gift with us.
